I was referred to this doctor by a good friend of mine, which at the end was a total waste of my time. I stop by in person and they said they had my records already, and Doctor James was reviewing it them. After a wee I called and they told me they dont have any recors, they were goig to search for; and they will call me back. A wee week went by and I never received no phone calls at all. So I decided to stop by in person and get more information. The girl up front was so rude and so unprofessional. I asked her why I was never contac to set up an appt? Her aswered was "I dont know Im not the one that make the calls" I asked her if I can make an appt with Doctor James? Her answered was no, "He can't not see you, and he usually don't give a reason for" i replied to her; "So' almost a month and you guys can't even bother to call me and tell me this?

I Edward Kimball have been seeing Dr. Grimes for about a year and a half and have had both total shoulders completely replaced, before I could hardly move them at all. Now I can move them freely and with ease, if anyone is looking for a joint specialist I would like to suggest Dr. Grimes he is not good but a great surgeon. He also does minimaly invasive surgery, I can’t sing enough praises for this Dr. so if you’re in need look him up on Stockdale Hwy.

I highly recommend Dr. Grimes. He did a repair on my shoulder and I could not be more pleased with the results. The surgery went very smoothly and I had minimal pain. I had a family situation occur which would have caused me to miss my follow-up appointment, but Dr. Grimes was extremely accommodating to reschedule at a convenient time. The physical therapy went well and I was able to discontinue the therapy after two weeks and had full range of motion with no pain.

Hip replacement went very well, I have a new lease on life. If you're wondering what to do take it from me. do it. Don't suffer in pain needlessly anymore. A few months and you'll be good as new. I'm 67 years young now!

I had a very poor experience with Dr. Grimes. He performed surgery on my left shoulder three years ago, and the result was not satisfactory. I had to have another surgery to fix the issue. I would never allow him to operate on me again. I was fortunate to find a much more skilled and efficient surgeon subsequently.

Office staff are rude, inconsiderate and outright uncaring. My brother kept getting deferred for his hip replacement because he did not purchase the "upsell" robotic method. Lady that performs the scheduling is in over her head and actually needs to find an easier job wherein she has no public contact. Actually, I would suggest his entire staff rethink their occupations. Dr isn't quite personable but rather like talking to cardboard cut out. His skills may be acceptable but the continual attempt to upsell gets old quickly. Granted the upsell is an additional $6000.00 cash pay. Nice money if you have it, Which my brother did not. If it were me, I would seek a consult elsewhere. Be prepared to wait additional hours beyond your scheduled appointment time as there is no respect for your time.

Grimes did surgery on my left shoulder 3 years ago I will never let him touch my body again he didn't do a good job I had to have another surgery but thank God I found a fantastic surgeon

Dr. Grimes did my arthroscopic Hip surgery. Not only did he end 8 years of intense pain with every step, he is the only surgeon from Fresno to LA that does this type of procedure. It was fast, professional, and even my disability papers were handle correctly and timely. The day of the procedure I woke from surgery with less pain, than I had endured every day for eight years! I felt ready to do a marathon! At my post op he did have to tell me to knock it off because I was inflaming my joint and I would ruin his good work! There were absolutely no complications, his staff was more than friendly, efficient and professional. Since my procedure I have sent 4 patients his way that I met and recognized the painful limp and gait I used to have. Everyone of them have had the same positive results I did. One of my customers comes by occasional to thank me for giving his life back! Haha! All I did was give him Dr Grimes name, Dr Grimes did all the work! I would recommend this surgeon again and again!

My mother was advised to see this MD for shoulder problems. However upon attempting to schedule this appointment this MD will not see unvaccinated patients despite taking a Hippocratic oath . This is a shame that healthy, individuals are being denies orthopedic care despite best practice and evidence based practice, such as having a negative test and titer.
