“Was provided room near IHop. The 2 semis delivering food woke us up at 3:00am and 6:30am. Then the garbage truck 2 days later at 7am. Not a good experience. Also, homeless hanging around IHop. Watched them look in car windows. Will not stay here again. The front desk people are very nice, provided amazing service, and breakfast was decent.”

“I pulled over tonight after I realized I was too tired to make the whole trip back to the Bay Area from LA.
Deborah was wonderful and quickly helped me get an amazing room near the office. I’ve always had a hard time falling asleep when traveling alone but it feels very safe here. The room is clean, spacious and very comfortable. I’m so happy I found this hidden gem for future trips.”

“Clean room in a great location for the purpose of my visit. Check in was seamless and complimentary breakfast was better than expected with real eggs used for their scrambled eggs (found a bit of shell in mine, so...). Would definitely stay again if traveling in or through the area!”

“Very friendly, and very clean rooms. Great that it was only 20 minutes to lake ming for the drag boat races.
Rooms: Clean and very comfortable. And very welcoming with the name on the TV screen. Never seen that before.

“Rooms were clean and had all the amenities described. But the room we had, had a weird layout. AC and air circulation in the room were not up to par. It wasn't even a really hot day and the AC struggled to keep it comfortable at night. In Bakersfield, AC is paramount. Also, we did cook in the room, but it smelled strongly of the steaks we cooked for the rest of the stay. Opening a window probably would have killed the AC. Also, the dishwasher leaked on the floor when we used it.”
“Got in after dark, left in the wee hours. Not bad. A little farther from the airport than I thought.
Rooms a little on the "meh" side. Didn't like the fact that the room had connecting doors to the adjacent one. Didn't have any issues, but you can hear every conversation. Other than that I had a very quite sleep time.
Food and drinks: It had a basic restaurant service and you get a free drink voucher. Missed breakfast, but it has made-to-order eggs, which I love. It also has the usual buffet breakfast.”

“This hotel is relatively accessible from surrounding roads. The parking lot is easy to navigate with plenty of spaces for guests. With the occasional vagrant passing through the area, my husband and I were pleasantly pleased to see private security, manning the premises once darkness fell.
Our room offered a restful night’s sleep with a comfortable bed, but the flat screen television was more of a headache to work.
The guest bathroom offered both tub and shower options. Lotion, shampoo, and conditioner were available for guest usage.
Overall, our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.”

Rooms are basic but fine. Breakfast is simple: coffee, tea, oj, bagels, muffins, yourgurt.

“We have been staying here for almost a year now and absolutely love it here! The beds are sooo comfortable, they are pet friendly, Amanda and Amber are 2 of the nicest people we have ever encountered! They take good care of their guests and having worked in the hotel industry prior to my retiring it is not an easy job! But we have never felt so welcomed and that means a lot! The fridge is full size, wonderful stove top to cook on, and free wifi and 2 movie channels, so we couldn't ask for more being 60 yrs old!”
“Staff was friendly , rooms are VERY nice. The pillows are honestly my biggest issue being waaaay to soft that your head just sinks and makes it feel like there is not even a pillow udner your head and it was uncomfortable in my opinion. The price was a little high but the qaulity of the room and tbe location is probably why it is so expensive. Other than that I had a great stay for the few nights I was there and if I ever need a hotel room again , it will most likely be at the Hyatt”

“Good hotel, would come back again if driving though because of close highway and Costco gas proximity. The room was clean though the shower had some weird ceiling issue. Only drawback is that the breakfast is pretty sparse- the hot food options are waffle maker, scrambled eggs, or an egg croissant.

“I had a great experience at this hotel! Every time i have stayed. The room was clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff and service were truly wonderful—everyone was welcoming, helpful, and attentive. I also really enjoyed the pool area; it was clean, well-kept, and perfect for unwinding. Overall, this hotel is an all-around win. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others !!!!”

“Update: 2nd time here, I got a room with 2 queen beds, I loved it! Rooms were just fine.. AC works, TV channels aren't my favorite, so that was a bit of a bummer. I will continue to come back. I used the small gym for the first time. Unfortunately I will be leaving by 5am so it will be the 2nd time I have had to skip breakfast.

Cost: little under $200 for the night.
Had a pretty nice night here. We weren't there for to long, just a few hours. The front desk moves a bit slow but the guy at the front desk did a swell job. I was happy, the entrance can get a bit dangerous. What I mean is, there's parking but not everybody uses it, so you get a line of cars (2-3) who are still checking in and you might be stuck waiting in the street waiting to turn onto the property. It's a small entrance. Once you've got your room card/key, you can enter the parking lot by using your key and the automatic gate opens.
We had a Jet Tub, which was nice, very hot but looked like what could of been a tad bit of mold around some of the caulking. I can't say for sure if it was. All in all, I think the wife and I really enjoyed it. We also had free HBO, the room has heat and AC. I do want to say that it did smell like smoke a bit even though it is non smoking.”

Love them all... they have really really nice rooms on the 2nd floor.. they only use those for out of towners workers an normal quite folks....it's so clean an quite u don't even feel like ur at the same hotel...3rd floors for the local Riff raff. 1st is for locals..

Nearby activities: There's buck Owen's not to far from there... That has the boulevard witch is alot of fun good family fun an John's incredible”

“Great value. Clean. It's indoor access hotel so it feels safer, not outdoor-access motel.
I was concerned with the lower reviews and low cost, but pleasantly surprised by this hotel.
I stayed here because I wanted to use my Choice points and they had by far the best value. I was not expecting much, but all the essentials were very good. Everything was clean, good bed. Fast internet. Staff were friendly. Basic breakfast, furniture, and fixtures, but I wasn't expecting more.”

“Right off Hwy 58. Staff at the front desk on arrival was very friendly. The room was clean but starting to look a bit dated. Breakfast was pretty good. Was out of eggs, sausage and potatoes, must have been a rush before me. Lots of noise from the highway but it's easy to access on and off the freeway.
Safety: The parking lot has might security. 10-6
Walkability: It's a quick walk to several stores close by.

“We would definitely stay here again. The restaurant made amazing craft cocktails and the service was also fantastic. The room was clean and spacious and near the downtown area where you could walk around and go to nearby restaurants. If you drink the bottled water in your room, just beware that it is NOT free and there was nothing clearly stating that.”
