Rental car companies treats everyone like they're trying to steal cars from them and make it nearly impossible to rent a car even when an insurance company is covering the rental and are guaranteed payment from a contracted insurance provider. Not everyone in the world have bad intentions. If you're going to make things difficult for your customers then might as well not be in business.
And... even if someone did have those intentions I guarantee that the rental car company would have insurance on their assets and would get an insurance covered fully paid for new car to replace it with.

I love Hertz car rentals they're always clean and full of fluids I do a walk around with the tech and make sure if anything is in need of repair or needs to be addressed we talk friendly sevice helpful and very fair prices. I'm looking to rent a vehicle so I know Hertz will fit the bill
