Went to Motor City to buy a new 3500 dually, as we were walking around the lot looking for trucks we were approached by a salesman. We told him what we were looking for and he quickly grabbed a golf cart and drove us around to see what they had in stock. We found three trucks fitting what we were looking for. He took pictures and drove back to see if any where available. He told us 2 of them (white and silver trucks) were available. We chose the white one and took it for a test drive with the salesman. When we got back the salesman had his manager check and make sure the truck was not on hold or sold. He confirmed it's availability and we filled out all the paperwork to buy it. 20 minutes later the manager walked over to us and said he couldn't sell the truck to us because it was sold. We asked him why would he say it was available and waste our time filling out the paperwork and test driving it if it was sold. The manager told us it sold the day before and the salesman that sold it didn't put it on hold in the system. The manager went to his office and came back with a listing sheet on another dually he said was available but was still in Mira Loma and needed the be hauled to the dealership. He said for the mistake he would offer the new truck that was $10,000 more with a $4,000 discount because of the mistake. We said we would buy it and asked to do the paperwork on it. He said he couldn't until it got delivered. He said he would communicate with us when he got it in so we could buy it. We stopped by the dealership the following weekend to see if it had come in and saw a truck fitting the same description in the back. We went to our salesman and asked if it was it and if we could get the paperwork done so it didn't get sold out of underneath us. He checked with a manager and said they didn't know if it was it or not and wouldn't know till Monday and he would call Monday to confirm. We texted the manager asking for the vin on the one that was supposed to be ours and he never responded. The following Tuesday the manager called us to tell us that there isn't a truck available in Mira Loma and everything coming in was sold. John Petree called me and told me there's nothing he can do about the situation and asked me how I got to the used car area. I told him I was approached by the salesman and didn't know any different. I just don't understand why they proceeded to lie to me over and over and over again. John didn't even try to save me as a customer. I told him about the situation I had with parts the week prior. I run a mobile mechanic business and buy parts from them all the time. I ordered 2 fuel pumps in for a 6500 Chevy and they sold them out from under me 2x in a month leaving my customers truck down. I drove there 2x to have them tell me they sold them. Again John didn't try to earn my business back and had a missed opportunity, I will never use this dealership again and I have been doing business with them for many years.

I would give -100 stars if that was an option!!!!Changing my opinion of this place!!! They started out great then ended up be shady!! I won't ever do business with them again!! After getting approved they kept running my credit!! They have had our trade in for over a month and a payment for the trade in was taken from our account!!! This is BS!!! The ONLY good thing about this place is Augustine!!!Ken Sanchez acts like he's doing you a favor but, he actually is trying to screw you!!!!

On April 12, 2023, I purchased a new Yukon XL Denali from Motor City Buick GMC. The buying process started by contacting Jay Ramos, a salesperson at Motor City Buick GMC, on April 4, 2023. It was communicated and confirmed by the salesperson, Jay Ramos, and the dealer's financing department manager that the vehicle would be registered as COMMERCIAL. Other sales personnel and the sales manager at Motor City Buick GMC also confirmed that "every vehicle sold at Motor City Buick GMC is registered as COMMERCIAL." On May 2, 2023, I received, via mail, the permanent registration showing "TYPE VEHICLE USE" as "AUTOMOBILE ."It is now Oct 16, 2023, and I have yet to resolve the issue with Motor City Buick GMC, which should have sold a COMMERCIAL type vehicle. The issue was never resolved and the dealership stopped taking my calls.

I hope this message reaches your sales team for training.I feel hearing how Greg treated us will help others. Sunday we came in to look at a Yukon XL. My wife and I where expecting our fort baby at the time and it was her due date that date. Our salesmen Greg Fontes spoke to us and bonded with us for 10 minutes before he even started talking about the cars. Buy the time we where said and done we had looked at over 5 different vehicles and had been there for 4 hours discussing the differences. We chose the standard size Yukon because we thought it would work best for our family. Only thing missing was our tires for the car unfortunately. Over the next two days he found our tires and was willing to deliver it the day our baby was able to go home to the hospital. Because of this I get to take my new born baby home in our new family car. Thank you Greg!

The service we received from Andy at Motor City was absolutely fantastic. The sales process was great, but they really shinned after. We ran into an issue that I thought would be a nightmare and Andy went above and beyond to make things right. I would 100% drive the 4 hours down there again to buy another car from them.

I came into this dealer knowing I wanted to buy a Sierra but I wasn't sure which one. Joshua Spinner was my sales man and he showed me the different trim levels and showed me the differences between them. By the end of the day I was decided on which Trim I wanted and he helped us out so much and everything went smoothly! I bought the truck at the end of the day so he had me come back the next day to get it Detailed and a full tank of Gas. He truly is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I recommend everyone buying a car from motor city Buick to go with Joshua Spinner, you will not regret it!! 10/10

Highly recommend Motor City for buying and financing a used car. Joey and the team were kind, welcoming, and exceeded my expectations in shopping for a used vehicle. The team worked to set up as much as possible while I was not on the lot, so when it was time to come in to sign papers I was in and out, hassle free. The team ensured I had a spare key after the purchase and set yo the appointment with the dealership so I had nothing additional do on my end. I am extremely please with the Motor City team's professionalism and customer service.

Absolutely worst customer service! They promote buying an extended warranty when purchasing a vehicle from them. I bought my vehicle 10/2021 , took it back to them 12/2021 with steering problems and a noise in the front passenger area and rough idle. Over a week later they inform me no problems the rough idle is normal. Now March of 2022 I take it back same complaints they tell me I need motor mounts once again out my vehicle over a week. ( problem still very present, even worse.) Now January 2023 same problem ...over a week at MC they finally dx the issue bad lifters, But they refuse to pay for my rental due to procedure( I completely understand if it was the 1st time.)Still having to pay for my loan on the vehicle along with a rental Now over 1k out. Still waiting for my rental to be reimbursed. Their mechanics are the reason it wasn't found back in Dec of 2021 not my problem. They need to make it right. Beyond over MC customer service.

I am a local business owner that has been a continued consistent customer of motor city dealership and fleet service since 2014. This used to be the only shop in town I trusted and recommended to everyone. As a business owner I have multiple personal vehicles as well as company vehicles which means I will sometimes be at motor city fleet multiple times monthly for service or repair. My experience and views unfortunately have taken a drastic turn over the last year towards motor city fleet. It seems they now have so much business that integrity and responsibilities have taken a turn for the worse. There is too much to list so I will just write my last month experience. I took 3 personal vehicles and two company vehicles in for service and repair. The negatives are I made an appointment for my 2005 Jeep Wrangler that had multiple issues that they had to repair. I made an appointment a week ahead of time. One of the issues was it was leaking oil from the pan and rear main seal gasket, after having the jeep for three weeks which was excessive, I was told they replaced the rear main and oil pan gasket and it still leaked and would be having it put back on the rack to replace the rear main seal again. I was later contacted by Motor city fleet telling me my jeep was ready for pick up. I was also told that there is still residual oil that could possibly leak because the mechanic did not take the time to clean up after replacing the rear main seal. (This Jeep is very clean underneath and would’ve taken the mechanic five minutes to clean, but he chose not to) I now have the Jeep back home in my driveway and it’s still leaking oil from the rear main seal, after two attempts and over three weeks at motor city fleet. Issue number two I took my personal 2018 GMC Sierra Denali for service, which has custom rims. Upon pick up I noticed scratches on three of the four of my rims. I brought this to Tony and Haley’s attention, and basically was called a liar that they didn’t do it. I then brought it to John Petrie’s attention and was told he would talk to Tony and Haley and then get back to me, in which he never did. During this time I also had a company service vehicle down for service and motor mount repair which they quoted me almost double of what any other shop in town would charge to complete the same repair. At this point I’ve had enough and picked up the service truck that needed motor mounts to take to another local mechanic to be repaired. I am most likely not one of Motor city’s biggest accounts, but I know I am nowhere near the smallest account, and would’ve expected to have had a better service relationship as it was in the beginning then what it has now become. Sadly, when businesses grow they lose sight of personal relationships as well as integrity and treat you as though they are doing you a favor instead of appreciated your business and providing good customer service and quality.

So I would like to mention first that we purchased two vehicles here. I was in the market for a 3rd and unfortunately I could not reach the sales person. To make a long story short I ended up picking up another Yukon somewhere else and after reaching out to Peter and Oscar to discuss what happened. U must say they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. The call took a few minutes, no arguing or shouting was needed and Oscar came through even though my last vehicle was purchased else where. Thank you Oscar for proving that good old fashion customer service still exists now adays. I'll be seeing you soon for my next car. I highly recommend this dealership.

I would highly recommend Dario Hernandez at Motor City Buick. We purchased a VW Convertible through Dario and had to have it delivered to Missouri. He made the whole experience very easy. We had never purchased a car without driving it so it was a little intimidating for us and he walked us through everything and did what he said he was going to do. When the transaction was over, my husband and I said to each other, I can't believe how pleasant that was. We have purchased many vehicles over the years and I always anticipate the salesperson to tell me they needed medication or a stiff drink after haggling with my husband. Thank you Dario! We appreciate you and your team.
