Super rude guy at the register on Sunday night sept 25th 2022 at 8.50pm PST Asked him something about a fragrance because they were behind the register and there were boxes around there blocking the view, didn't even bother to look behind him to check , just said NO and walked off , mumbling something to himself. WTF !! Like he knew the names and what was in stock without even checking! Not like he had a line going or anyone there.

I'd give them a minus 5 if I could , it's always a problem getting my meds at this store ! my doctors given me a written prescription before they wouldn't give me the medicine they said it was written on the wrong script and wouldn't fill it went back to my doctor he insisted it was, went back argued with them some more finally went somewhere else and got it filled !!! Yesterday went to attempt to pick my medicine up for the second time ,my doctor called it in they filled it ,kept texting me to pick it up, when I show up to get it they wouldn't give to me and kept asking what milligrams I'm taking , I'm a senior taking over 10 meds I can't remember, I'm tired of playing their games to get my meds ,I bought some make up while I was there and didn't get the concealer that I pay for it's on the receipt, they've done it to my sister too , didn't give her some q-tips she paid for and refused to replace them so I didn't bother complaining about the concealer I didn't get and paid for, !!! almost forgot they were cheating me half a pill on one of my meds also , save yourself a lot of frustration and go somewhere else

The store is adequate. The outside of the building is filthy. Trash everywhere. The flower beds are overgrown, trash everywhere, the parking lot and drive through are littered with boxes, dirty diapers, bottles, it is filthy. Shameful. Makes one wonder if they are capable of being a pharmacy. Sad.

I have had many amazing experiences at this CVS on Niles and Fairfax in Bakersfield, Ca. The Pharmacist Serena is always helpful and very professional as well as all the other staff. Serena always greets customers with a smile and always extends herself to us. This time she helped me find an over the counter medicine for my mother. Serena and the rest of the CVS staff go above and beyond to make sure that every store and Pharmacy visit is a joyful amazing experience, Thank you for being you.

I have never been to a CVS that is as jacked up as this one. The parking lot and the up keeping of the gardening is outgrown with weeds and trash. Just because this store is in East Bakersfield doesn't mean you can let it go and don't get me started on how messy the inside is. Every aisle that I walked through is unorganized with product just thrown and not picked up. I don't get how a large company can let this one go so bad. I would recommend to shop else where.

This is my favorite CVS store!! The staff is sincerely friendly and helpful. Constantly smiling and pretty much knowing all the regular customers, as I've witnessed. The Daytime Manager gets extra Stars for having a Bright and Friendly personality. I truly look forward to picking up my UPS packages from this store. Thank you for being so good at customer service!!

Always Slow service! Be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes for a pickup. No this is not due to COVID. They are just SLOOOW!

I have to admit that I like the consistency of CVS. I am not saying that they are the best nor the worst but each time I go to one, they are basically the same, and I appreciate that. This CVS is obviously no different than any other CVS. The facility is clean and the staff was professional and polite. Meh.

I am avoiding all CVS locations now, they are too understaffed, expensive, and the waits are too long compared to everyone else. I feel like they need to really start focusing on customer service if they want to save their existing business instead of overcharging and cutting corners-I'll wait less somewhere else.

Worst CVS in the State! First they sell expired items & there are flies in the store and human feces right outside in parking lot by entrance! But that is not the worst, I came in with coupons from a few days before, sent additional coupon code to my account via email. They could not find my account with my phone number or email and they could not honor my coupons without that. I showed them my email and coupon, I said I was just here 3 days ago getting a prescription and used my account. They are so lame they could not and would not do anything! I could not get any of my items because I did not want to pay double for everything!! Nothing they could do!! Absolutely ludicrous!!! What a waste of my time! I went to A different pharmacy and got everything for better price and nothing was expired. Found my account no problem! I will never go to a CVS again especially 'this one!! What a disaster!!! Moved my prescription to a competitor! Infuriating and inept employees! Do not waste your time like I did!!

The second lane drive through service shoot is open when the pharmacy is open. Not sure if everyone knows this or no one uses it because the service on second lane is a bit slower than the drive up window.

We came to the drive up window with no line and the young woman inside said our insurance info didn't go through. So we drove off and she called back in 1 minute saying it did. When we returned, there was a line of at least 15 cars at the drive up. How 15 cars arrived in that span of time is unknown. She continued to talk to my wife for such an extended period of time that it was insane. My wife asked, "Shouldn't you get off the phone?" But no... instead of shortening the line, she chatted, and chatted, and chatted -- about NOTHING. Then she said, "There's no line inside. Come on in." She still wouldn't hang up. She wasted at least 7 minutes that she could have used to shorten the lines. Of course, inside, she was wrong. The long line from the pharmacy was filled with coughing & sneezing vagrants and drug users. Her job hopefully we be replaced by A.I. soon and automated. She needs to go on welfare and not work at a CVS. What an idiot.
