I could say something good about everyone at this church, even the door greeters are hilarious and super welcoming. Thanks VBF, I gave my life to Jesus at this church.”
“We waited in the heat for food banks delivery truck that didn't come. They gave what they could. They stood in the heat and were VERY apologetic and courteous about it. Good people. I'm grateful for what I received.”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chabad of Bakersfield and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The rabbi and his family are truly exceptional people - kind, energetic, and always willing to go above and beyond to make visitors feel welcome. The synagogue itself is a beautiful and peaceful space, perfect for quiet contemplation and prayer. But the real highlight for me was the holocaust memorial - it is an absolute must-see. The display of six million buttons is incredibly moving, and a powerful reminder of the atrocities of the past.Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of Chabad of Bakersfield. Whether you are a regular attendee of synagogue or simply interested in learning more about Jewish history and culture, this is an absolutely fantastic place to visit. Highly recommended!”
