Kind of off the beaten path. Gas was reasonable. Bought a couple of lottery tickets. Hope I get lucky!

Racist clerk said he didn’t have change for a $100 just because I’m black. Went to the Fastrip across the street and they had change. NEVER GOING TO ANOTHER CHEVRON AGAIN! This isn’t the first time something racist happened at a chevron either. Seem to be the only gas stations hiring racists.

On 1/28/23 at 12pm I went to get my wheels filled with air. I scanned the card and heard the machine run. I took the hose and realized water came out. The hose next to it was empty then I realized the air hose was missing. I went inside and spoke to the employee who had the appearance of young Hispanic in his late teens, early twenties who had a hood over his head. I told him the situation, tried to get a refund, and to at least put a sign indicating the air was out of order but and he laughed it off, saying it was "common sense" that the air hose was missing. It was extremely rude and it he didn't care at all. The 2 bucks was nothing but that fact that he refused and laughed at the idea of putting up an "Out of order" sign shows a lot about his character. From now on I will only go to the gas station across the street Fastrip from now on. I will also get a charge back from my credit card company claiming fraud. Now that's common sense

Could give zero stars if I could. Paid $7 per gallon just ti have half tank full because pomp doesn't work preperly. Went inside to tell the owner and he said it is my car's fault not the pump. He didn't want to refund my half money back. I always go to costco and never jad any issues with my gas gauge before, so I know it is not my car. I regret not going to costco this time and giving this gas station a try was a hige mistake today!

Amanda provided the worst service ever refuse service with a valid ID and then kicked me out because I was upset that she wouldn't except my valid ID then proceeded to take a picture of my car. It's unlawful to deny people of services when ID is provided

When this Chevron service station at 1125 Coffee Road [southbound side] was built, I lived nearby before the field was developed to what it is now. That was some time between September 1995 and June 1999, when I was a resident @ 5 of 8 local residential physical addresses.I remember this Chevron being named as the WALKER-Powers Chevron, and I would go there to cool down with some cold soft drinks as needed. The young man in charge did a wonderful job there, his name was/is Dan.Saw him again unexpectedly miles away, working at the Bena Landfill [edge of valley, far east of Bakersfield, CA.], some years later.I would refuel my motor scooter at this service station if I remember right, although I do not have it or another one anymore.I sometimes would also go nearby just to the south of the building, where one of the Bakersfield Farmers Markets was, or still is, on one day per week.Waiting for the fog to roller derby in.
