Horrible atmosphere, horrible customer service, and their stock has greatly reduced. They were out of carts so I had to carry several large heavy items to the register. A few of the male employees were standing near the register watching me struggle but did not offer to help me carry anything out. I remember when the employees there at least cared a little. I will never go back.

Due to moving out of town and COVID, I hadn't been to Big Lots in quite awhile. But, it is the same great store. The check outs have moved and given more room for stock. They have a great variety.

This used to be my favorite Big Lots location, but the place has really gone downhill, due to the neighborhood. In spite of the security guard's presence, I did not feel safe. I got what I went for but did not feel comfortable shopping for anything else. Shame.

Just two days ago, my friend Jessica and I went their on our way back from visiting a friend and her aunt and beautiful stuff they had for Christmas, and they had a discount on their Halloween decorations .

There was one person ahead of me at the checkout and when it was my turn the cashier left to answer the phone and I sat there for about 5-10 minutes being ignored, when another cashier came to get change we were still ignored! So I left and I will take my business elsewhere.

I like Oildale's Big Lots. The staff are some of the nicest people I've met in a long while when shopping. They'll stop what their doing and help until the item I want is found. Great prices on furniture, mattresses and food. Name brand stuff too. That's just the tip of the mountain. Looking like I'm going mountain climbing. Now learning to Yodel.
