Very hit or miss in my opinion. I ordered 2 different bouquets this past week to be delivered 2 days apart to 2 different people and one of them looked better than the photo and the other was terrible ! The flowers were wilted and it looked nothing like the photo . There were also barely any flowers in the arrangement/mostly greenery. The one that turned out better was actually the cheaper of the 2. I’ve ordered flowers from here for the past 3 ish years for holidays and birthdays and they’ve always been very inconsistent. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re willing to take a gamble…you can get flowers from Albertsons that are the same quality.

I absolutely would not recommend this business to anyone. Their flowers are cool and the prices are okay but the employees are not. The customer service was so bad. The product quality and customer service are equally important but they’re only good in one part, the flowers. The women and men are very rude. As someone previously said the blonde florist is extremely rude and full of attitude. She did not want to help or give any tips to my mom. We asked if they could help give an idea of how many flowers is enough for an urn arrangement and she said she can’t give us any numbers or any ideas because it would fall on them and it’s all on us to decide everything, might I add she said all this with attitude. But there is one younger brunette girl who was so kind and so helpful, unfortunately I didn’t get her name, but she’s awesome. And when this younger girl was ringing up our order she asked what our project was again because she was afraid we might have too many flowers and we showed her and she helped us and gave us advice, whats funny is the other lady said they couldn’t help at all yet this younger girl did (again so thankful for her). We know the blonde lady just didn’t care to help us at all.
Also when putting our large order of flowers in the car one of their men who drives a van around harassed and cussed at me. I of course didn’t say anything back because he’s a 30yr old grown man yelling at an 18yr old girl, I was scared.
We had a large pre order of flowers to make our own arrangements for my uncles funeral, so while being in shock and mourning the loss of my uncle we had to deal with a very rude and unprofessional business.
For the sake of future customers, please do your jobs right or don’t be in a business.

Went to purchase flowers for my fiancés funeral services. While in a time of mourning I was hoping to get someone who was nice, understanding and compassionate about their job. The lady with the blonde hair does not like her job. She was very short and rude and when you are mourning you don’t need to hear or see an attitude. She was rolling her eyes during a call for another customer and complaining. If she doesn’t like to help people why is she there. The prices for the flowers were very reasonable but people like her will push business elsewhere.

This was my second time purchasing flowers here. Both times, the flowers are nice, the selection is good, the prices seem reasonable, but the staff are just plain rude. Each time I've been there I've been really turned off by how this same gal treated me. The first time I thought it was a fluke, maybe she was having a bad day. The second trip, it's the same as the first occasion when I was there. It simply baffles me that she is like that. I probably won't go back and just figure out something else in the future for fresh florals. It really is disappointing.

I placed two orders via their website site on a Sunday and they were delivered the next day!! Absolutely phenomenal service and the recipients who received them said they were the most beautiful flowers they ever received! So grateful for their quick response and amazing service.

I was very disappointed in my purchase from this market. I am always willing to give the local owners my business. Big mistake. The customer service in person, and over the phone was lacking in social skills. The quality of the flowers were poor, and the floral sprays were delivered late (after the service) and mislabeled.

Where should I start. My brother passed away and my family and I spent well over 1,000.00. We were very disappointed with the flower arrangements, quality, and especially the customer service. The arrangements were all mislabeled. Although the flowers were inside, they begin to wilt mid service compared to the other arrangements that were from other floral shops. Also, my sister’s did not arrive correctly and that’s when we had the rudest and non-compassionate customer service. Thank God for Basham staff who put the labels on the proper arrangements. No grieving family should have to do a so called “professional’s ” job.- The Castaneda Family

I called on a Wednesday to see if they had any purple/lavender carnations available… At the time they did not but was told they were getting a big shipment in the following Friday… I showed up on Friday ready to spend $400 on a mix of flowers in addition to the purple carnations however the purple carnations were still in a box and when I asked one of the workers if they could open the box he absolutely refused which was frustrating because he wasn’t really doing anything at the time… Long story short I Drove all the way from tulare to buy Flowers but definitely will never be going back worst customer service…

I had forgotten it was our 56th wedding anniversary it was 2:30 pm on a Thursday Afternoon and no flowers.Boy am I blowing it.so I ask Siri's on my iPhone to find me all flowers shops close to me and so I called One by one they would say not enough time To have a bouquet of flowers. And finally after being let down 4 calls. It happens Alexa from Bakersfield Flower Market answers. yes we can put together a Bouquet of flowers for you and deliver it today. Buy 4:30 pm, I was so relieved and happy. When the flowers delivery person Arrived, and my wife answer the door and expression on her face and the smile that she had, was worth all the 56 years of love that I have for her, it bought tears to her and my eyes. Happy Anniversary my love.!! Thank you (Bakersfield Flower Market ) But that's not all the Bouquet was fabulous and very fragment !! I must say before you buy a bouquet of flowers for any occasions Call Bakersfield Flowers Market. and make Some one in your life happy!! They definitely deserve your business. Take it from this grey gentleman they are class act!!!

Don't waste your time here...prices are nearly double that of their local competitor Mayesh and the customer service is beyond bad...if your the general public coming in they treat you as a second rate customer and as if you are interrupting their day

A little tricky to find, but worth it! The help there were very friendly and helpful and their prices are great!! I'll return again! Also..I left my wallet there..when I called about it , they said if I hadn't called , someone was going to bring my wallet to my home... was that nice!! YES!!!!

I was looking into buying flowers for my wife for Mother's Day. I found this place after looking at several florists. It took a while to find a florist, but finally found one. I ordered online, and delivery came on time.
