We had an appointment and were seen on time. We walked to get something to eat, and the car was done when we came back. I asked if they could turn the maintenance light off since the only maintenance we needed was a tire rotation. They said they didn't have the tool to do that. When I got back to the car, we watched a YouTube video and were able to turn it off while still in the parking lot. It doesn't take a special tool. They may want to have training on this

I made an appointment yesterday because they only had two tires on hand. I arrived 20 minutes prior, saw a long line inside so I asked in the back if I still needed to wait in line. (I’m currently mending a broken ankle, which has caused extreme knee pain on the opposite leg and using a walker but I brought a cane). He said he would let them know that I had an appointment. I still had to wait over 20 minutes in line. When it got to be my turn the guy next to him tells him I have an appointment. Scratching my head as to the point of mentioning it now. I was seen in first come, first served fashion. Having an appointment bears no meaning whatsoever, even if you’re handicapped at the time. It would have been nice even to have them acknowledge and allow me to sit until it was my turn. Not sure who that 30% less wait time refers to. Disappointed and confused.

Went in today realizing I’ll not make it to work two hours east on the 58 if I don’t get two new front tires. They were dethreading ?. John opened the door for me and like a professional gentleman he worked with me since money is tight. Within one hour I was done, tires rotated and aligned! My car is safe now and I feel safe and fully satisfied with the service to the price!!! Thank you John so very much and Makai to David. Such a great group of guys, all knowing in their profession, leaving me so very grateful. Highly recommend this place!!!!

Foe those of you who dont have an afternoon to read all this, or others who perhaps don't like math, let me just come out and say the five stars are for Mikey Ramirez, whose suave diplomacy and judgment today.. While the business overall is really good, at least a 4.25; but ti earn a full Five Stars, youve got to be EXCEPTIONAL. Now this is a good business, esp when you consider that once you buy your full set of new tires from them, which are reasonably priced wrt other vendors, anytime one of those tires becomes damaged by one of those innumerable road hazards we face in our travels, they will replace it with a new one, if the old one cannot be repaired, for only $20! That's why this place was recommended to me, and why they're probably like the amazon when it comes to tire retailers - since I don't know of any other place that does that! Before uncorking the champagne however, you might want to recall that driving on tires of different radii can seriously damage your transmission, esp if you drive an AWD, so if your other three tires are worn, you can't just place a brand new tire in that fourth space; you might as well try skimming your lambo across the lake, to see how far it will go! I don't know alot about cars, but got a bachelor's in physics, to lay the ult foundation for my other field of primary study, (macro)bio! So naturally recalled that a difference in radii will be equal to difference in arc length times however many radians its rotated thru; or, for each full circle, r2 - r1 = 2 Pi(l2 - l1), where the l's stand for the arc lengths. But wait! For two wheels of different radii connected on the same axis can't travel different distances - clearly that would bend or break the axle, right? The only way this rough & tumble beast mobile can move forward is if we vary the angle, in radians, thru which each wheel rotates- since we can't change r, and we can't change l, the angle, let's call it theta like the physicists do(there's no symbol for it on my android - no Greek letters at all, boo!) And that is why it can wreck your transmission gears, tho I'll leave it to the tech ppl and those versed in the workings of the automobile to explain that! Since I admit I'm rather clueless on that. Point is, for AWD, and possibly all (or automatic trans?) vehicles, you can't just change the one tire, you need to change the one opposite it also, in general - but that 2nd tire didn't get damaged by road hazard so you don't get the sweet $20 deal on that. Instead, to my major disappointment, piled atop earlier automotive disappointments in the day, that tire would be full price, like $130, so out the door, I'm look8ng at $150! I was really upset, but firstly, Mikey was very calm and remained friendly, while still asserting they needed $150. But I remember bringing this issue up when I originally purchased the deal, and was told "Well we've never had an issue w that..." I asked, "So you have used tires and will find one w a close match radius?" But was told, "No, we only sell new tires." And so, as I explained to Mikey at ~ 5:25pm earlier this afternoon, it was natural for me to assume I would get both tires at the discounted rate. At this point, since he remained firm yet cordial, I even said I didn't want to argue and would probably be needing to speak w a manager, since I felt I'd been misled. I said they should have told me directly back then that in that instance, I would need to pay full price for the second tire, rather than, "We've never had a problem w that." Granted though, what they said may have been true. Nevertheless, and I rarely would make such a vow, when Mikey offered to, what word did he use? Rebate? Anyhow, when he said he could get me out the door w both new tires for $46, I was thrilled! So much so that they essentially made a loyal customer outta me, singlehandedly, Mikey did today, and that's rare! So long as they don't start going all mi

I made an appointment at 9:15 AM for my tires rotation, which they recommended. It's almost 10 AM, my car is still waiting to be taking inside the bay. Why make an appointment when, I still have to wait a long time. I am very disappointed.

I have been dreading taking my car to get my tire checked. I did not want to pay towards getting a latch or a replacement tire. I took the car in and in 30 minutes, they repaired it and there was no charge! I highly recommend!

This is by far the best tire buying/repair experience in all of Bakersfield. Set an appointment online and fully understand the pricing before I walked in the door. Tremendous service and effort by the team as well. 10/10

I had an issue with my tires holding air after going off track on a nearby raceway. I was staying in Bakersfield and found this tire shop before they closed this past Saturday. These guys were friendly and helpful - fixed the problem and saved my 2nd track day. This business was much nicer than other tire shops I've been too - clean, open waiting area, easy parking. Thanks again.

They came out as I was getting out of my car. The place is clean and professional, as are the staff. Tire rotation was quicker than my phone call.

Purchased a set of four tires yesterday afternoon. One was flat today as there was a nail in it. Returned to America's Tire where they immediately repaired the tire and got me on my way. Thanks for your prompt service and for honoring the road hazard warranty.

Went and got 4 new tires, and new sensors. Felt like something was off so I asked if they checked my PSI. They assured me all my tires were full. Take it home, and check again, and I got all 4 tires at different PSI.
