Costco Tire Center is known for its competitive prices that are hard to beat. However, service experiences can vary. While some customers report stellar and excellent service with helpful and personable staff, others find the process can be annoying. Wait times are a frequent concern; making an appointment is strongly advised, as walk-in waits can be excruciating and long, often estimated at four to five hours. Even with an appointment, some installations take much longer than the initial one to one-and-a-half hour estimate. The line inside can be long with limited staff at the registers. When work is completed, they call you when the car is almost ready, though pickup instructions can be unclear. The actual tire service itself is often pretty fast, with some repairs handled quickly. Staff are appreciated for helping in emergencies, like fixing a flat for travelers or patching a tire. Some customers feel service attitudes could be better, occasionally making them feel like they were bothering the staff, especially if a return visit is needed for an issue like a tire sensor light. The final tire presentation, like removing stickers and ensuring valve stem caps, is sometimes overlooked. For many, the significant savings make it a good place to go for tire help, even if the experience has occasional frustrations.
Julian helped us get 4 tires with a great attitude. He's a keeper.

I have never seen Costco so packed! Parked and managed to get in and out in 20 minutes!

Traveling from Texas to California and got a flat. Grateful for Costco Tire Center at the next exit. They helped us out and we were able to buy a new tire. They told us they'd have it ready in about 2hrs but they had it done in 1hr. Good place to go for tire help.
