I had a fantastic experience with Azusa Animal Hospital and their team. The service was exceptional, and the staff was both professional and friendly. My dogs were well cared for and seemed genuinely happy with the treatment they received. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic for anyone looking for top-notch care for their pets!

Dr. Kim is the best vet in SGV .
We have been taking our dogs to him for many years. The staff is always polite and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Kim at Azusa Animal Hospital on Arrow Hwy.

I paid $60 for my dog's PHYSICAL EXAM & the vet (Dr.Kim) didn't even do his physical exam. He didn't check my dog's ear or joints. I had to ASK to get information. I expected him to give me basic information on how to take care of dogs, so here is the information I got, which I had to ask to receive to save you $60: - Dog food is fine; major brands are better (Purina, etc.). No necessary supplements or vitamins are needed since all the nutrients are in the dog food already. Grain-free is better for the heart; only contraindicated if the dog has a grain allergy, which will show at 8 months. - Only training treats are good (no bones or bacon). - When driving, don't let your dog's head out the window or else they may develop allergies.

What needs to improve is their staff veterinarian returning calls when voicemail and/or messages left with staff. We noticed the no returned calls since a year ago. We gave them several opportunties to improve but sadly there was no improvement on their part. Also last pet visit which included surgery extra meds were prescribed when he was already on those same meds we said to refund on that day Dr. Kim said needs more. We were told a flea med was applied at the time we were there to pick him up he was in the back but when brought to us there were no signs of it having been applied. Plus he continued to have fleas which was a sign of med not being applied. We are going to another vet.

(Yes I'm here after a few months because it still hurts us, and we remember what we had to see) I've only gone there maybe one or two times with my mom last year when our cat baby jack was ill, he was indoor cat and only went out a few times to sun bathe usually in the back yard. Our baby jack got an illness that unfortunately at some point caused him weakness, he tried to jump on his cat tower and fell back, injuring his little leg we're not sure what happened exactly but my brother found him on the rug and his tower knocked over. My mom and sister were taking him a few times before I had started going with them and never once were they able to diagnose him but he kept guessing and insisting we gave gabapentin. The one thing that pissed me off the most is that the vet doctor the Asian dude, was pulling on our cats leg, causing him to scream and meowing in pain I had to tell him "STOP" . That was devastating & heartbreaking to watch . They appear to care , maybe the staff .. but our baby jack was never properly diagnosed. He gained his angel wings that October. My baby jack mommy and sisters and brother miss you so much. Our little angel for ever !!!!!

Great service! Called last minute to get an appointment, they gave me same day. Got my puppies the vaccines they needed. 1000% recommend. All the staff friendly, helpful
