Everyone was in a good mood, creating a positive atmosphere. With plenty of parking and patience, you'll make it to lunch just fine, though maybe consider coming a little earlier or a little later. I had the shrimp tacos and they were very good, with plenty of fresh shrimp. My wife and daughter had melts on sourdough and they were tasty too.

550 1st St, Avila BeachIncredible tasting experience with our host Shay (sp). Her depth of wine knowledge and approachability enhanced our experience on a Saturday afternoon. The Pet Nat was such a surprise and a great way to start a tasting. Every single wine was better than the last. Brought a bottle of Estate Syrah home and will be sharing it with friends. 3920 Avila Beach Dr, Avila BeachThis cafe is on near the pier at Avila and has a view of the harbor. I stopped in for breakfast. I asked for a scramble without eggs. #allergygirl got a delicious mix of broccoli, onions, zucchini, tomatoes and potatoes and a side of sourdough toast. Having allergies makes breakfast a hard meal to order. Fat Cats hit it out of the park! Thanks!!

460 Front St, Avila BeachThis was our second time here. We haven't been in several years but remembered the food to be quite good and of course it was beautifully located. We were excited to revisit this year. They felt severely understaffed probably because of the holidays. Took a while before someone was able to seat us. They can really use a dedicated hostess. Maybe they had time off? However, once we sat down everything was perfect. The food was delicious but honestly it was our amazing waiter who made the evening (and meal taste) even better. He was super attentive and his kindness felt sincere. You know when someone is putting on an act vs someone who is genuinely lovely. He even comped our dessert. The duck à l'orange was perfectly cooked. The boeuf bourguignon was hearty and paired well with a side of veggies. The escargot was so delicious even the kids enjoyed eating "snails" Would definitely come back!
