My wife and stopped by your store on May 23rd and were in the process of purchasing 2 hats when we requested a pair scissors to remove the tags. The staff member behind the counter grabbed the had and admonished us for not saying please. Somewhat astonished, he again stated we must say please and took the hats away from us. We left without the hats.

Little shop with a huge selection of hats of all sizes and types. Great shopkeep with strong knowledge of layout, hat styles, and what they can get sent in from their main location in Ventura. Came in for one hat and left with two. Perfect place if you're a guy that wants to get out of a baseball cap hat rut.

I went in buy a hat at the Avila Beach store during our trip and was not disappointed. The selection was extensive and the service was great, very attentive and helpful! I bought the Kooringal - Ladies poly stripe in sunset taupe and I love the hat. Great coloring and it fits very well. I had originally wanted a hat with a chin strap but those were not the style of hat I wanted. A very helpful gentleman advised where I could buy those straps at so I was sold. I would highly recommend this store! You can also buy or at least view the styles on their website.

I was greeted by the sweetest woman, Leigh Ann. She helped me find a hat that fit my head beautifully. What an amazing store with even more amazing employees!

This shop is fantastic. Almost any kind of head ware seems available. Went in for just a look and left with two new hats! Staff was great- friendly & accommodating. I’m sure if we had more time, we would have walked away with more hats. Lol- fun for everyone

Very rude service! I never leave reviews but I feel like it's needed for this one. We walked in 30 minutes before closing to browse around and the cashier rudely yelled we're closed. After this, a WHITE couple came in and she greeted them kindly. After we left, she slammed the door on us.

A great collection of hats from formal, to straw beach hats. The straw beach hats were probably the best bargain in the $25-$30 range for large brim. Easter Sunday, or derby formal hats and fascinator's were also a great bargain under $100. The baseball and trucker hats seemed a little overpriced in the $20 range but again, and incredibly good selection.

Have travelled the World and found great hat stores in Italy and France and now Avila Beach CA. Sales lady could have been more friendly though.Long weekend ?

This shop has so many wonderful hats for men & women (kids too I think). Beautiful, functional, comical, It's worth a trip AND you're at Avila, always awesome. Not the friendliest staff person (Lady) but she serves the purpose. If you're on the Central Coast, check it out.
