We had originally planned to kayak but the e-bike tour was suggested with me being 33 wks pregnant. My husband and I had an amazing tour from Avila down the scenic Bob Jones. We even had a little pit stop at the Avila Valley Barn where we grabbed some ice cream, checked out the farmers market, and watched the kids feeding the goats, chickens, and calves. The views were so scenic and we ended with a little ride along the beach. It was so fun! We 100% recommend this tour, and we’ll definitely be back. Great customer service.

The equipment was very good. Rented a beach cruiser, not an electric , and did the Bob Jones trail. Problem was that this place does not pro rate price. You had to pay up front for entire hours, not 1/2 or 1/4 hour. Rented for two hours, returned after one hour and no refund for the hour unused. Other places seem to charge upon the bikes return, and then for the actual time used.

One of the bikes had a flat tire. We told the manager and he didn’t give us any compensation other than an extra hour for one bike only. That wouldn’t work because then only one group member would be riding it alone. The person with the flat had to walk back 1+ hour to get back to the store with no refund or discount.

Bill drove from San Luis Obispo just to rent us 2 bikes. The bikes were in great condition and he was a really nice person

This store is very close to the Bob Jones Trail. All of the equipment seems to be brand new. We rented E Bikes for the first time. The service was excellent. They helped us choose the bike that fit us best, and took time to educate us on how to use it. We went on a busy Saturday in May, and the trail wasn't too crowded. But in Summer weekdays will be the better choice. Great bike shop!

Checked for reservations which were unavailable. Checked them out for walk-ins and they were closed during listed business hours :/Checked the windows for ebike types and they are using RAD bikes which I've had poor experiences with at other e-bike rentals. They're unreliable, pretty sporadic, and not my favourite e-bike.

My daughters and I booked a last minute bike rental with Avila Beach Bike Rentals and we were so impressed with the customer service we received. Bill, the owner was so helpful. He made sure that we had everything we needed!!

Great place! The owner Bill and his wife are super friendly and welcoming. The electric bikes are very nice and so much fun!! They send you out on a great trail that gives you a great view of Avila. We will definitely be back!

Our family had a great experience renting bikes from here. We rented electric bikes and took them on the Bob Jones trail, which is something I would highly recommend. Great service and knowledgeable staff.

My family and I had a great experience renting out these electric bikes, we went down to the bob jones trail and a had great time even my youngest was able to ride an e bike and he’s only 12.

My girlfriend and I rented bikes here, wonderful customer service and we had a blast riding the bikes around Avila. Highly recommend!!
