If you want surround sound, this is the place to go! We bought a new tv and my husband also bought a $900.00 sound bar that was supposed to be like surround sound. We used to have surround sound hooked up to our dvd player, but that's not how we watch movies anymore so we weren't using it. The new sound bar was nothing like REAL surround sound so we took it back to the store and contacted Ray at Wooden Ship. He came out for a fraction of the cost of the geek squad, hooked up our surround sound to our new tv, our apple tv, and our dvd player. And even the head phones the geek squad said couldn't be hooked up. Are you smarter than your smart TV? Ray is!

I've purchased a couple pieces of stereo equipment over the years from wooden ship, most recently it was a Marantz Amp to integrate all my equipment and a universal remote. He had me bring in other pieces so he could show me how to hook them up. I left with the hardest ones plugged in and ready to roll and detailed instructions for the rest. He programmed the remote and had it ready in a day. It's amazing, it literally turns on the whatever you need with one touch. If I punch the blue ray button, it turns on the TV, stereo, and blue ray with one touch. Ray is awesome and my music never sounded better.

Hands down the best stereo shop in town! Ok, they're really the only true stereo shop in town. But still, Ray is awesome. I can see why he's been in business since 1976. Excellent customer service, incredible knowledge of all things audio, super high quality products. You can't go wrong here. Ray hooked me up with some top of the line speakers at an outstanding price. If you need anything home audio, go here and you won't be disappointed.
