Wild Bird Station is a great local owned small business in Auburn, CA, tucked back in a shopping plaza on Grass Valley Highway. It is easy to find with lots of parking. The shop is clean and decorated in a fun, fresh way, selling bird feed by the pound with about 12 varieties, feeders, bird houses, nature guides, garden art, decorative kitchen ware, and gifts. The inventory is current. The owner, in business for 29 years, and the employees are super knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and accommodating regarding birds and the local area. They are full of knowledge about feathery friends and sell special blend birdseed and fresh seed mixtures for any kind of bird. The birds will only eat the food they sell. They have lots of cute bird related items and good gifts for bird and squirrel enthusiasts at fair prices. They are open seven days a week and even offer coupons. It is a fun store and totally worth it to check out.

This is a great store. Employees & owner are so knowledgeable about bird related stuff. And they have lots of cute bird related items. I'm definitely going back.
