I recently dropped off my truck to R&J Auto Repair to have my front brakes pad & rotors replaced. (my vehicle brake sensor indicated there was less than 20% left on my brake pads). Travis called me an hour later, brake pads still had 60% wear left. no need to change. Thank you R&J!. Its great to find a business that has integrity.

Really happy with my service today, I was having brake pedal issues and these guys really took the time to thoroughly inspect and fix my car. They were honest and didn't rip me off or try to sell me new parts like most other repair shops do either which I REALLY appreciated. Excellent work, I'll definitely bring my car back here in the future.

Went to this place on a whim and boy am I glad I did! Had my car smog tested in under a half hour. Super nice office manager and even spoke with the owner and asked if he could check my breaks for wear and he did! I will definitely be seeing them next time my car need service!

Got a quote of 3200 for head gasket from another place. Took it to rjs for second opinion and was told there were underlying issues and not the head gasket. 650 bucks later and car is running great. These guys really know what they're doing and don't just try to scam people. 10 stars if I could.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I bought a car from a family that had receipts from R&J showing they had a water pump and radiator installed from these guys and when I went in to replace the fan clutch assembly that went out I found four missing bolts four loose bolts, extremely over tightened bolts, two lose radiator hoses that had slight leaks and the rubber intake manifold house clamp was completely loose. I have the receipt showing they worked on the vehicle two years ago. I would keep looking if I where you for a shop that are professional mechanics or if they have done work for you in the past you should definitely inspect there work! Oh and I forgot to mention they forgot to properly align the alternator causing the serpentine belt to rub a groove into the hydraulic belt tensioner housing. The reason I choose to buy this vehicle is because they had all the receipts showing work had been done by mechanics lol boy was I wrong!!! Beware

Fantastic experience. My girlfriend and I are from Santa Cruz and we were visiting friends in Auburn for the weekend. On our way back we got stuck on the side of the road outside of Sacramento. We had the truck towed back to this R&J around 9pm since it was the first place we saw and was very close to where our friends live. Showed up at 8am on Monday to talk with Travis and he diagnosed that the issue was a bad fuel pump and was able to complete the repair THAT DAY. Such a life saver. Truck is running great and we hit the road the next day and made it back to Santa Cruz safely. Great experience!Service: Engine repair
