Jamie does absolutely amazing work every time and is such a sweet lady. Very professional and definitely a perfectionist. All the girls in my family go to her for our nails and love it. The price isn't too steep for a pedicure compared to most places nearby and in Grass Valley. I would definitely recommend her, even if you live a little ways away.Service: Pedicure

I have to say I have lived her only since the new year. Needed a haircut and I can ride the golf cart here. Have it a try. I will never leave. Caitlin is just amazing! My hair looks fabulous and I never feel rushed. Everyone is so nice there. Thanks again Caitlin for another amazing experience.

I absolutely love Krystal at Lather- she is the sweetest and a true artist at doing hair. I had bounced around stylists for a long time and finally found the perfect one! it's always a good time in the chair and I leave so happy with the results. My last haircut and color were not exactly what I was envisioning and Krystal went out of her way to go above and beyond to get me back in and do an AMAZING job free of charge and threw in a free product as well. So thoughtful and caring. She is the only stylist I would trust to just go to town and do whatever looks good.

I go in there and tell Krystal I don’t know what I really want but I know I want light tips dark roots and no dead ends. And she tells me oh I know what you want. And I get this amazing new hair I would of never thought I’d doing. Omg I love her so much. It’s like she can read my mind.

Krystal is talented beyond words. The amount of creativity that is produced by her soul and translated by her hands is unmatchable. This last time in her chair, I wanted a pop of color. Instead of "just adding a pop, she carefully considered the shape of my head and sectioned out the perfect shape to accentuate any hair style I could manage. She truly is an artist. Her work and salon reflect that.

I read all the great reviews about Krystal and wanted to give her shop a try... wow, was I impressed! When I first walked in, she looked at me and said "get out, get out!" She told me I had a wasp in my hair and that she wanted to brush it off of me outside, well that sure started the day in an interesting way LOL. Turns out it was a bee so I now I can joke that I came in with a bee hive hairdo! Anyway, I have been looking for a hairdresser locally that got what I was trying to do with my hair. I wanted to go shorter but I didn't want something too traditional or too wild. After talking with her, she inspected my hair and looked at some of the photos I had brought of styles that I liked, I could see that she was getting some ideas and also getting excited about working on me. First, I want to say that she is a true artist if you want something creative and different, and I am sure she is capable at doing exactly what just about anybody wants that comes into the shop. It seems to me that most hairdressers have maybe a dozen basic styles that they are really good at and they try to stay within those while adjusting them some for the clients desires. Krystal was completely different in that I really could tell that she was creative and quite capable so I was comfortable with her "doing her thing". Not only was I very excited about my hair but she is a really interesting and conscious person. And, she is the first hairdresser that I have found that was able to copy a hairstyle that I had a picture of and bring it to life on my head LOL. We talked about dogs because one of hers was being neutered that day and she was bummed that she couldn't be at the vet because the dog had separation anxiety, and I could certainly relate because I have a dog with a similar disposition. Anyway, we spoke about a lot of things and I really liked her and I found her to be a great person with a good heart and I think even if she had botched my hairstyle, I would go back to her and give her another chance LOL! But, she did a great job and I was really happy that I got to meet her. I also really liked the music selection that they had in the shop and as a sidenote, she is a really great singer and hummer. She seemed to know most of the songs and the lyrics that were playing so I just relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Thanks Krystal! You deserve all the success that you have had and I hope you get to go on that trip to Maui sooner rather than later! I've gotten great compliments on my hair but I don't have a pic yet to share... maybe soon I will add one Update: I'm adding a picture of my hair...!!
