Howell's Sewing & Vacuum is a great store with a very knowledgeable and helpful owner. The store offers a good selection of sewing machines and fabrics. Staff help customers choose a machine that fits their experience and needs, walking them through features and providing free classes. They are a great resource for information, assistance, and solving problems. The store also offers long arm quilting services and time rental on a long arm machine, completing work at a reasonable price. Customers highly recommend the store in Auburn, CA.
I stopped by today for the first time and I will definitely be back. I was happy to find out they rent time on a long arm. Lots of great fabrics and machines. I plan on taking some classes in the near future there.

I purchased my first sewing machine. I got free classes and I am having fun with the owner. She is super nice and helpful she’s knows a lot about sewing machines. She showed me how to do a lot of fun things on my new Janome. Thank you!

Nice little store. She tried to help me with my cheap Chinese sewing machine, but it was too much to fix. Good selection of material and sewing machines.
