“With always a friendly and rewarding reception each time I go to the Church meetings here, I am cognizant of the fact that there are real people, even during this trying time of the pandemic, who actually feel the genuine care of showing love and concern each time I attend church.I have found the meetings at noon, conducted by the Alta Sierra Ward leadership to be ones during which important talks by men, women, and youth do much to enrich my life and give me an anchor on which to attach my faith and desire to do better with my life.I am ever amazed at the testimonial sharing of the reality of Jesus Christ, our advocate with the Father, in the fulfilling of the great plan of happiness and the promise via the atonement that if we repent of our misdeeds, sins, faults, and exercise faith in Christ we can be truly forgiven and move on in our lives with resolute determination to serve Christ all the days of our lives. This feeling exudes each time I attend one of these meetings, and I thank those present, who are able to convey this strong testimony of the divinity of Christ and His mission to mankind. Thank you for this most pleasant, peaceful and reassuring feeling of belonging.David Dickson”

“This was the Christmas party for the s f a r c ham radio club. There were about 122 people that attended and it was a great time. That's about half of the club. It is always a great party with this group. If you are a member, the Christmas dinner and many other events around the year are free. The meetings are free for everyone. Really great bunch of people. The church is a good place for the club events and the club gets to use it at least in the recreation room without charge because we all bring a big load of food for the food bank. It is a very good exchange.”

“Bell Road has a fantastic Worship Team--love the music! The new pastor teaches straight from the Bible, yet he applies it to our daily lives. We are new to this church and we have been welcomed with loving arms by many friendly people. The church is very diverse - with people from all ethnicities, professions, and age groups. I enjoyed attending the Women's "Breathe" Event and my husband has enjoyed the Men's Ministry activities. I highly recommend Bell Road!”

“I visited for the first time today. The people were welcoming, and I was able to converse with several of them. They are obviously very serious about honoring the Lord, following His word, and serving others. They were planning the meal and indoor shelter for the homeless this week and promised details of the recent trip to Paradise where some of them were helping to rebuild houses. A bonus is that there are several small groups which can help newcomers connect with others. If you're on the fence, just go and visit. Don't miss out on this sweet congregation.”

“I moved to the Auburn area from Sacramento and had attended CSA for ten years. FCSL is similar in concept to CSA, but much smaller in a historic church in the foothills. Being smaller everyone knows each other instantly. You will find a friendly and inviting atmosphere with many activities and classes available. Come check it out.”

“I was just visiting. Traditional Anglican, episcopal church, utilizing the 1928 Book of Common prayer. Sweet people, warm, welcoming. An honor to worship with this small body of believers.”
