In this day and age of "Customer No-Service" Sierra Pipe Co. has blown that practice completely out of the water! I traveled from Lincoln to Rocklin to Auburn in search of a run capacitor for an air conditioner condenser. Sierra Pipe Co. was my 5th stop.A young man with a neatly trimmed beard working the counter(I apologize for not getting his name) was the ONLY person in all those stops who tested my old capacitor with a meter, checked his shelves for a replacement, and even called his service department in hopes of locating a compatible capacitorin-house.When the gentleman could not find a compatible capacitorin-house amazing things happened! He called competitor businesses all over town looking for the part. Who does stuff like that these days? Sierra Pipe Co., that's who.Regretfully, I purchased a capacitor at another business but the mountains of goodwill I now have for Sierra Pipe Co. can not be measured.Thank you Sierra Pipe Co.

These guys have earned my business. Water rite was my go to for plumbing needs until they decided to close at five rather than six. Which is no big deal, right… I plugged in my navigation and said I was going to be there at 5:04. I called them and ask them if they can hang tight. I’ll be there a few minutes past the new closing time. Even offered to pay for the item over the phone and have them leave it outside since they said everyone is out the door at 5 PM. I would’ve been there a couple minutes after they left it outside. no can do they said.So I frantically started calling contractors looking for the item I needed. Then I found Sierra pipe, which I’ve used plenty times in the past, was open till 5:30. I plugged in my navigation, and it said I was going to be there 10 minutes late. I called and talked to John. John waited for me an extra 10 minutes past their closing. Opened up the yard and walked all the way down and loaded the supplies for me.Thank you John for saving my day. Have a bobcat and a crew in the way which I’ve been waiting for for a few weeks. If it wasn’t for John I would have had to wait an extra couple weeks. Take notes “water rite”

Great inventory of plumbing, irrigation, etc....lots of very friendly and helpful staff. There is one person there to avoid. He gets very irritated with you if you don't know exactly what you are looking for or ask what he may think is a d*** question. Once you know who that is, avoid him and just look for others if you need help.

Was driving by there facility off of Nevada Street and was completely cut off by one of their drivers as he was pulling into Sierra pipe. He then continued to stare me down and yell at me as he was in the middle of the road as if I was doing something wrong. Completely unprofessional.

I found Anderson's listing as a supplier of North Idaho Energy logs and called them multiple times to gather information. Was told they were in ample supply, there was fast turn around, and gave them my address and was assured delivery was no issue, just costs a bit more due to my area. I had been repeatedly assured that I didnt need to give any specific order lead times. So when I saw the temperatures start to dip I called and placed my order. It struck me odd at the time that I was not given any specific delivery information at the time, was just told I would be called. After 5 days without hearing anything, I call them to check on the status. I was told that due to rain my delivery had been cancelled and there would need to be a reschedule. I understood but found myself wishing for communication of these details, but specifically said nothing at the time. After over a week from order had passed, with no one contacting me once, I call Anderson's again to get an idea of whats going on. For multiple days it had been falling to 45 degrees inside my house and I live with my 68 year old mother, and the day before and day of my call were estimated clear days. I was told the driver would contact me when they were going to deliver, or I could cancel my order if that time frame did not work. The person I spoke to explained he was just a counter guy and offered to let me speak to his boss, which I accepted. I explained the whole situation, as well as how I had been assured this exact scenario would not happen, to which he replied that "we all knew winter was coming 3 months ago" and that I could drive up and pick them up. I explained that I do not own a truck, which was the driving reason for delivery, and that the assurances I was given was the reason I had chosen to order from them how I did. I was informed that "from the way you are talking to me" that he wished to go our separate ways and cancel my order outright. This has been the worst experience with any vendor I have ever had, and it shows that they truly do not care at all about anyone who is trying to order from them. They have quite literally left myself and my mother out in the cold because they did not care, and apparently the premium delivery fee is not enough for them. I would say this clearly demonstrates that any customer would see the same level of care the moment they do not feel like offering a service, which makes for a company I would strongly recommend avoiding.

Anderson’s Sierra Pipe Co. is by far the best place to go for all your plumbing needs. Prices are competitive with the big box stores.I love the help you get from everyone I’ve ever had contact with in the store. It’s also nice keeping your money local.

I’ve bought a few plumbing parts in the past. Now I mostly buy the Idaho Energy Logs. I do have a question, why don’t they put the prices on what they sell??? Unless they changed that and all there merchandise has prices on them now. It’s annoying to have to ask how much something is before buying it, and really, who does that? That’s the only store in Auburn that does that.
