The lines are long every time I go inside. They usually only have one teller working at a time, at most sometimes two. The ATM is out of cash more than I'd like. The parking lot is small and lots of traffic. This bank, a UPS Store and a Starbucks share a parking lot smaller than a gas station parking lot. Not drive though ATMs, only walk up to ATMs which sucks when it's raining.

It's always packed. Atwater branch. I own a small business and I have to come do my deposits here almost everyday. I could go to the Merced branch as sometimes we have been suggested but it's a 15-30 min drive depending on the traffic. Today was packed as always and to add up more, most of the time is just one teller to attend a line of 10-14 clients. There is no line for merchants or business owners anymore which I'm ok, will not complain about that. But today I was standing on the line for over 25-30 min and a teller, and other person which I want to assume was the manager, started calling people to help with straight deposits no Cash involved which I'm ok with it. But, with was not ok with, was when she called a person by his name and said " (name.of the person)"" we will take your deposit." The manager or the teller at any time didnt advice us 10+ clients waiting why she had that person and another one that she called by his name too, pretty much cut in line. ( I want to assume they were business owners or doing business deposits) but guess what.. I am a business owner too and I felt very annoyed, not with the fact that yes they were trying to help business first but why they didn't acknowledged the rest of us. Why not handled it different? Like simple as saying " we are sorry, we can only allow merchants deposits here".. I want to assume that if she should have known me she would have helped me faster too?

The manager Natalia here definitely shouldn’t be a manager. She is extremely rude and not helpful at all. Bank opened 30 minutes late and that wasn’t even the issue, I totally understand things happen out of their control. Walk in I’m the first person helped, the teller seemed to be very new I had to repeat my change order about 5 times I even had to take my calculator out to show her she wasn’t giving me the right change, not once did the manager want to help her. I asked her to help her because I was already in a hurry waiting. She replied with “should have gone to Merced” like what? That’s what you tell a customer?? That blew my mind. Anything she was just rude “we don’t have that” “well we don’t have that” I didn’t hear the word “sorry” come out of her mouth at all. As a manager myself I’m beyond surprised that’s how she handles her customers when she’s stressed. 0/10 just because of her service for sure. It’s crazy she’s the face of that branch.

Horrible customer service. Worse experience ever! I went in to this branch today to make an electronic transfer and they flat out refused to help me, due to beig to close to closing time (13 min) apparently their time is more valuable than that of their customers. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I seldom write reviews but now I am writing so that people would know how bad is the Customer Service of the Bank Manager of this Wells Fargo Atwater Branch is. This is one of the reason that I don’t want to bank at Wells Fargo anymore and I am very happy with Citibank. I always encashed checks at Wells Fargo bank since I received my salary weekly and every two weeks at the checks were issued thru Wells Fargo so every week I have been encashing checks at Wells Fargo. In other branches like the Westwood/Wilshire branch, Los Feliz, Vermont and Silver Lake branches I don’t have problem encashing my checks. But in this particular branch which is beside my other work the bank manager is really the worst that I sealed with. She is discrimating and I always have problem encashing my checks which I usually do every week. She will let me wait for more than 30minutes just to verify the checks issued to me but never call then issuer and just pretended to be in the phone. And when I asked her she would tell me that she is talking to their internal department to verify. And everytime I will encash on this particular branch she is giving me a hard time. And when I go to the other branches I have no no problem and get to encashed my checks in just few minutes. That is why even this branch is just a few steps away from my part time work, I don’t care driving a few miles to go to other Wells Fargo bank branches that have more friendly and excellent customer service.

I just wanna SHARE my experience..I'm a brand new customer as of last night..and so far my experience has been wonderful..Margaret at this Atwater location, has went above and beyond to assist me, in setting up my new account, and providing the service needed to complete the remainder of the process..She deserves acknowledgement HUGE....DONT let GREAT customer service pass by, with NO PRAISE.. PLEASE acknowledge her Wells Fargo.. Everybody that I've worked with so far has been GREAT..And thank you Jessica For your help TODAY also..So far so GOOD..Thk u Wells Fargo..

Let's just say that they will leave you waiting in line for a minimum of 30 minutes every single time , never more than 1 or 2 tellers and not very friendly either , it's just seriously exhausting having to come here ,I waited in line today for 30 minutes and not one teller looked up to apologize for the wait it's like they don't like their customers

Bank has been closed since the start of the pandemic. It is the only major bank in this small town. It opened briefly at one point, but closed again just as fast. There are two ATMs, only one accepts cash deposits. The other accepts check deposits.

This is the only branch in town and it was closed due to Covid for a long time.I saw someone open the door for a customer exiting, so they may be opened and controlling the amount of customers at one time.

Super slow service line. If you don't have an emergency and absolutely need a real assistant then prepare for a 40 minute wait.
