The pharmacists and others that work in the pharmacy are very nice and helpful. I moved my prescription's from CVS a few years ago because I always encountered rudeness from the people that work there. Thank you Walgreens for being so kind and helpful.

So I go to the dentist at 8:30 this morning and find out I have an abscess. The dentist has his front office person, Patti, call in a prescription to Walgreens for an antibiotic. He gives me two of the pills that he has in his office to get me started and tells me that I'll be ok if I pick up the medication in the afternoon because I've taken the two pills. At 2:30 in the afternoon I go to the pharmacy to get my medication. Oh I'm not in the system they say. I call the dentist office. She left the information on the voicemail rather than wait on hold to talk to a human. The Walgreens clerk says she doesn't know what voicemail that could be but ok. So while I'm standing there, Patti calls again and again has to leave a message. I wait fifteen minutes and then have to leave for an appointment. As I head out, I call Walgreens and ask the automated system for the status of my prescription. It doesn't see me in the system. I call Patti and let her know. Fifteen minutes later she calls me and says that this time she waited on hold and talked to a pharmacist. Forty five minutes later I'm out of my appointment and call Walgreens to check the status of my prescription. I'm not in the system. So I call back and get a human who says I'm not in the system but she'll connect me to the pharmacist. After I wait on hold for five minutes, some woman picks up the phone and then disconnects me. I call back and get transferred to a pharmacist. At first he tells me that I'm not in the system but when I tell him that Patti spoke with a pharmacist he miraculously finds me and tells me it'll be 3 hours to fill it. By then it was 4:30. At 7:30 tonight, I called Walgreens and it's not ready. They'll call me when it's done. Here we are at 8:10 pm, almost 12 hours since it was originally called in and I have nothing. Everything is screwed up now because the two pills he gave me this morning have not been followed up on. This is pathetic. I have already left CVS and Rite Aid for their horrible customer service but they're starting to look good compared to Walgreens which is pretty sad. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Must say the manager just at this location sucks! She said multiple items were no longer sold st their location and a team member named durvalina went out of her way to help us find the items that were in fact there and rather quickly!

Probably the worst store you can go to on the Central Coast. Understaffed. Attitude from the few employees they do have. Dirty store. Takes FOREVER to make a FedEx return. Why offer the service if you can't man the counter?

A note of thanks to Amber, Senior Pharmacy Technician at the Atascadero Walgreens, for her help today, September 18, 2023, in resolving a "hiccup" with my insurance. Her calm demeanor and assistance was greatly appreciated. Thank you, Amber.

If I could leave zero stars for the pharmacy I would. The worst experience of my life. I received a call stating my RX was ready and spoke to the pharmacist and told her I'd be in later that day to pick up. Arrived that same day and was first told that my RX had already been picked up (not true), that maybe I went to the wrong place, then she stated that I had received an automated call (also not true spoke to a human), and she said I could wait so she could ask the person who worked in the am if they knew where my Rx was (waited an hour then left). Came in the next day and was told again my RX was picked up, maybe it went somewhere else, and at this point it was looking fraudulent blah blah blah. I called the distributing facility (a different Walgreens) and they stated it was delivered to the correct place and I should have no problems picking up. So I forced the pharmacist to speak to the distributor meanwhile another pharmacist is making snide remarks about me being confused and maybe Doordash had delivered it. WTF. I'm scathing at this point. The pharmacist finally looks in the bins and big surprise there it is a freaking clerical error. My RX had been misfiled. So, I was treated like garbage for no reason. Moral of the story don't come to this place for an RX they are incompetent and won't apologize even if they've made you feel like trash. I left upset to say the least.

First the pharmacy said they didnt have my post op pain meds (they did) . 5 days later I call yet again after the SURGEON called. NASTY woman told me it wasnt her job to find my scrips from my doc. That the doc needed to do their job. I told her the doc had proof in system it was sent on Friday - 4 days ago and had called this am and confirmed they had it. She got all pissy then put me on hold and then hung up the call. Hows that for SERVICE. Called back and this NICE lady helped me found the scrip, merged the two accounts that somehow got created since medicare has my middle name and i use my first (no clue how that happened). She assured me it was there, my files were correct and the credit ards etc for payment were all set. I send a friend down to get it. She calls and the NASTY woman is at the drive thru. Saying I dont have a card and she cant take one over the phone so I have to COME TO WALGREENS. Which I cant cause Im down with massive pain post hip. I explain to her what we had done on Monday in my accounts - she claims Im lying. Says they never do that. I ask her to get a manager and she slaps me on hold and suddenly - my friend calls and says she has the meds and the files for my account were correct afterall. I am DONE with people being nasty and taking their stuff out on me. This woman has done this every time Ive interacted with her. CVS - here I come.

Well they did it again. Notified me that my prescription was ready. Drive 10 miles to pick up and they are closed with no estimated time to reopen. I leave on a cruise tomorrow. Nice job Walgreens. Please do not use this Walgreens. Too many times they have done this. I'm done with them and so should you.

My husband and I had to change pharmacy because of insurance changes and I hate this pharmacy. I don't use that word a lot but man, we have only been there twice and everyone at that pharmacy sucks! They are rude and not helpful in any way. As soon as we can we are going to use our mail order pharmacy instead. My husband said the only person that was helpful was someone named Karen.
