This was the closest Staples from my location, saving me during a work trip. However, I entered the store while on a long work call, and when I went to the cashier after finding the item I was looking for, I was treated with negligence and ambivalence. The employee ignored me while I was waiting at the register to finish talking about personal matters with his coworker who was ending her shift. After 3 minutes, he returned to the register to pick up a phone call and proceeded to finally scan my item while talking with the guest. I felt like I was passive aggressively ignored and neglected as a customer in need of help, especially after I had personally asked this employee where the item was 15 minutes prior, and the employee greeted the previous and next customers normally. I felt unwelcomed and questioned why this employee felt the need to ignore his customers in need. This was a disappointment and puts me off about the people in Atascadero.

Keith has it together. He can constantly meet my needs even it I come in at the last minute in need of 4 new laptops the next day. Guess what, Keith delivered!

Angry manager, snaps at you for simple questions. Unprofessional and not very helpful. Only purchased here because online was too long to ship. Some staff seems helpful and some can not be bothered.

I paint on canvas often. I use Staples to turn my canvasses into note cards. Nicole is always so polite, so patient & most of all very proficient. I'm sure the printing staff are good at what they do. But I'm always happy when I walk in with a project & Nicole is there to help me! Thank you Nicole for providing great customer service!

Ordered calendars was told not to come in the store the best way to handle it is on line. I have a huge family. Ordered two orders of 10, two orders of 5. Was told they would be here before Christmas. We'll, it's December 22 I Ordered December 16. They are in route, alot of good that does me... when will they be here. No one called before I did the last 2 times. I'm not happy this store sucks. Not doing anymor business heresu

Wow. What miserable customer service at the return counter. I just walked out of the store after doing a return, and the woman who helped me was so unnecessarily rude. She asked if I had a happy return and I didn’t hear the full question (I am hard of hearing), so asked her to repeat what she said. She very curtly asked again if I had a “happy return” and I said I wasn’t sure what that was because it was my first time, but that I would check. She said “well we only take happy returns” and walked off to help someone else. I pulled up the barcode and after a few minutes she came back and said “did you figure it out?” She was noticeably nicer to the man she was helping. I’m not sure what the deal was and why she was so short/condescending with me. This is the address the online retailer I purchased from sent me to—not everyone is familiar with all the details of these things. Will definitely do my not-so-happy return elsewhere in the future.
