I was quite shocked this is a Shell. It's dirty, with disgusting water, and there was an unpleasant smell at the pumps and inside.

Helpful, kind employees. Good selection of snacks. Very clean restroom - cleanest baby changing station I’ve ever used in a gas station bathroom. Stopped here on a road trip, so just passing through.

i called to ask how late they were open... & i don't know if it's cuz i have an accent but the woman who picked up the phone, hung up on me. I'm Hispanic. She was more Hispanic. it was rather rude. i was calling cuz i was coming through late at night, but she hung up with no answers....

I went to this gas station on the way home from my doctor's office. My medication keeps me running to the bathroom, I asked the cashier at this particular Shell gas station, could I please use the bathroom? You had to enter a code to open the bathroom door. He told me in order to use the restroom, I would have to purchase something in the store, I tried to explain to him the urgency involved, needing to use the restroom. He started acting like he couldn't understand me. At the time, I had no cash, and my bank was a few blocks away. My debit card wasn't working, so I couldn't buy anything at the gas station. I left and drove to another gas station that agreed to let me use their bathroom, free of charge. Shame on the staff and owners of this Atascadero Shell gas station on El Camino Real.

Front counter guy is mean. messed up my fuel rewards so lost $6 discount on gas. and went out of my way to go there. and I left money on counter and it was stolen by the time I filled up my gas. and have had bad experiences here in the past. avoid if you can.

Don't bother with the hot food, they don't rotate and will serve you pizza made in the morning @ 2pm in afternoon

Cashier too busy to help. He was grouchy. Could not use my Ralph's rewards. Could not scan. Left without getting gas.
