El Camino Veterinary Hospital: Leton Renee DVM
1380 El Camino Real, AtascaderoMy dog is now 17, and pretty healthy, but I switched to ECV last year when I was concerned about his teeth. Dr. Robinson was very gentle with him and after senior blood work got him in asap for a cleaning and 2 extractions. He did very well ( even at 16 yrs old!) with the anesthesia and I could tell he felt better too. Just recently he had an exam with Dr Schmidt (another fantastic vet!) and she's helping him with some arthritis and anxiety. He's very deaf and losing his sight slowly, but this office is keeping him in the best shape possible and he's still running around like a puppy. In between naps! The front and back office personnel are always helpful and informative, I highly recommend this office.

El Camino Veterinary Hospital
1380 El Camino Real, AtascaderoWe've been going to El Camino Veterinary hospital for a long time now. I've been very happy and impressed with their care there. Recently we had to have one of our precious kitties put down due to illness causing poor quality of life and pain. When we called they got us in immediately. We were of course very sad and crying. They have a special area for this which was very comforting. I was so very impressed with their empathy and kindness in this matter. They were so kind and caring to our little kitty and to us making it so much easier to go through such a sad time. I couldn't be more thankful to have such wonderful people to care for our animals and us.

I am a creature of habit, so, it is difficult for me to change my orders over time after being very happy the initial visit. I am also a retired professional chef and line cook with more than thirty years in the industry. My palate and sinus are very keen to flavor and quality. Each time, I have ordered the same meal: the Wedge salad and the Blue Label salmon. They complement each other beautifully. The tangy dressing of the Wedge dances intimately with the delicate saltiness of the fresh bacon upon romaine. It pops with brightness and flavor that is, simply, tear-jerking, to me. I recommend to save a few bites for when the salmon arrives. Pan-seared to marvelous perfection, slightly crispy bottom with fork-tender top, citrus toppings, fresh watercress, and just a splendid presentation. I felt like a winner just for eating my meal. They serve a side salad with the salmon, so, I always notice when the server takes a very slight double take when they ask which side. "A side salad, of course" (Far better than a bread or starch. Save the smaller salad to cleanse the palette. Such is older tradition. Thank me later). I also had the jalapeño margherita with tahini seasoning. Um... yeah... PERFECT addition to my choice in fusion. Combine the amazingly delightful food with the remarkably attentive service from servers and staff, Oscar,(owner and operator) keep this level of service and presentation up, and not only will you have a foodie customer for life, the referrals will come asunder. Such a wonderful gem in Atascadero, California! Thank you!

The chicken dinner was delicious, excellent rice pilaf and veggies, with bread for the table. & soup or salad....for $23 each! If you sit in the section away from the kitchen you have nice ambiance and great background music. Viviana is a delight as a server (also one of the owners). And the German chocolate cake with ice cream was absolutely stellar. We thought it couldn't get any better, and then found out that previous customers had paid for our dinner!! Whoever you are, THANK YOU so much. Go eat there, it will not disappoint. ?

The place has a very relaxed vibe, just order at the counter and then find a place to sit either inside or outside in their nice yard and they'll bring your food over. Good vegetarian choices too, so really something for everyone!

There was a large group ahead of my family and we couldn't immediately tell what the expectation was about ordering and where to pick up. I ordered a cold brew coffee and it was okay. The best part of this coffeehouse is the outdoor seating area. There were many customers working and conducting meetings outside. My family was able to sit in the sun and enjoy our coffee.

7109 El Camino Real, AtascaderoThe food was really good and the service extremely friendly. We spent a night in Atascadero on the way up Hwy 101 and so glad we ate here. My wife got a bowl with tilapia and I got a quesadilla filled with BBQ beef. The salsas were good as well as the chili/carrot/vegetable mixture. And they gave us a really tasty flan dessert to take back to the hotel.
