I really had a ball in here. And my male friend likes it to. I found velvet drapes that were beautiful. The women's clothes are clean and presented nicely. Art work to hang on your walls are lovely with good prices. Good book selection. Purses were stylish. This store is a hidden gem in this town

They work hard and have a ton of stuff for sale. It's well organized and clean. They have sales often and keeps things turned over. I do a monthly visit for sure.

North County Christian Thrift Store is the best and my most favorite thrift store. There is so much fun and treasures to find. Not only do they have the best stuff and the best prices, but they have the nicest people. I consider everyone there family. I have never been to a shop where everyone addresses each other(customer and staff) on a friendly first name basis. This is my number one place to relax, destress, and have fun. Thank you to everyone at North County Christian for a very well run, clean, and organized store and for always treating your customers with fun and kindness!

Not very Christian. Bought my son $40 worth of pants only to find out none of them fit him (they were two sizes big so I thought they’d fit but were too small). They don’t offer returns or exchanges even though tags were on and we just bought them. Also, they’re the most expensive out of all the thrift stores and aren’t friendly to homeless folks from what I saw. Not a very Christian business.

I am in there usually once a month, if not more. Seeing Tami is a highlight of my experience. She has helped me with birthday gifts, parties, dress up costume events, baby showers, and holidays- whatever I’m needing something for. I find them relatively priced well (I’m also super frugal sometimes so I try to be open minded). They always have deals going. That being said, I was in there this evening (2/21/23) around 5:30, and I heard an employee say something to another employee that wasn’t so kind. I believe her name starts with the letter D, but can’t quite remember what it is. I heard it and immediate turned my head to see who was talking to someone like that. The other employee looked relatively perturbed, and I don’t blame them! This will not keep me from coming back OF COURSE, but I thought I’d make someone more aware 1. Of what they’re saying, 2. Of how they’re saying it, and 3. that customers CAN hear you.

Extremely rude people and prices are insane also I came with a truck and trailer and there was no parking then an ACTUAL KAREN yelled at us this is supposed to be a Christian place instead we were treated terribly.(by the way my truck and trailer was NOT in a fire zone at all it was parked in the donation line so that people could have gone around us without us having to move so the reply to this is also false)

I've been a long time thrifter/antiquer in SLO County and I must say that I love this store, but I don't love their prices. They are higher than any other thrift shop in the county! Tammy is always the sweetest and fastest cashier and I appreciate her kindness. She is what keeps me coming in to this shop, even with their higher prices. A big thank you to Ms. Tammy for being the best!

This had always been my favorite thrift store since before the fire made them move. It makes me sad to see how the prices have gone up. Clothing is now close to the cost of new from Ross or Walmart. And they are pricing a lot of items at eBay/Etsy listed prices. I have stopped donating here for this reason. I stop in now and then, but it’s not as fun anymore.

I love that the staff is always ready with a smile, never dismissive or barging by you. It's my go to for treasures that are fun to find. The store is spacious, clean and well displayed, there is lovely music and never smells like a thrift store. I make it my donation station as well and not just because they have a coupon for you to use in the store. I like to think other people get to enjoy shopping for my donations too.

Big store and clean which is great. Unfortunately the prices are high and all over the place. Some items, for example craft might be .50 for a small bag of beads and another of the same size might be $3. The $3 bag was dollar store beads. This was kind of the same deal with most everything. Also the back warehouse area people were not really friendly at all. Got a couple nasty glances from a lady bringing stuff out. After spending a pretty penny they wouldn't even allow bathroom use. It's a pet peeve when you have a pretty massive place and can't be bothered to offer the most basic of needs to people, especially after spending well over an hour and quite a bit of money. This is one of those spots where I'd go if i was in the area and had time but if wouldn't go out of my way to support them.
