Mid Coast Mower and Saw is the best and only place you should take anything that needs repair in SLO County. They are professional and have reasonable pricing and I have always been more than satisfied with their quality service. I used to go to Noble until they ripped me off. It is an hour round trip drive for me but it is well worth it. When you get your machine back from Mid Coast Mower, you can bet that it will work as it should because they know what they are doing. AND Rick is friendly, honest and the best.

Once again: fantastic repair service, great customer service, fair, respectful and working as quickly as they can. I've been here as a newb chainsaw user, for help with chains and bars, for parts, service, and just some brotherly advice re: small engine products. Today I picked up the tiller that they serviced after I had problems with bad gas, and a generator we've never been able to start. Ashley is super knowledgable and very welcoming, even when a newbie like me has the dumbest questions. Rick leads his employees by example, up to his elbows in small engine work himself. Locally owned and operated business done right.

I took them a lawn mower to get the carb clean after gas sat in it for a few years. Instead of cleaning the carb, they replaced the OEM carburetor with the cheapest piece of junk $10 chinese carburetor they could find (seriously, $10). Lawn mower ran fine for one season, and now it runs like garbage. Will barely start, and it used to start first pull every time. Looking on ebay I can find used OEM carburetors for $40, so my guess is that since they didn't give me my OEM carburetor back, they turned around and sold my carburetor on ebay for $40 after putting a piece of junk $10 carb in, and charged me $85 for the privilege. argh. sleezy. Don't trust these guys.

We have been coming here for years. The staff has always been friendly and super knowledgeable. Don't go anywhere else, other places are not necessary, these guys do it all. They fixed our small pressure washer, sharpened chainsaws, tuned chainsaws, etc. Thank-you!!

They know their stuff and usually have what you need in stock. Far better than the guessing game at DIY stores with mis marked products.

One of the best experiences I've ever had purchasing a power tool. I needed a trimmer for the ranch. So I went to their Atascadero location. I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff and was assisted in picking out the best one for my needs. Needless to say their product was top shelf and has withstood the abuse I put on it regularly. I highly recommend you visit this business for purchases and repairs.

Was in here the other day to get my trimmer looked at/ fixed.. they we very very polite, said it would be a 5 week wait to try and fix it. (Seems they are backed up) but she said she could order me a new part. I was worried about the cost, but it was very reasonable. Took about 5 days for my part to come in. They called and I picked it up. Super easy. I now know where I will be taking all my yard equipment.
