Older lady with white hair complaining about her job and making you feel like you are in the wrong for requesting help on banking services. Very unprofessional. She kept making comments that customers don't need to hear. Sorry they dont put more help, maybe the staff would be less stressed with additional help. But usually going there the tellers are talking amongst themselves and customers left ignored.

had an account for 6 months then i closed it since i did not use it then they put a report on my chex system and lied about it being a charge off even though they sent me my 200$ in a check once i closed it......lies and fraud at this bank be careful.....now im fighting with there fraud department about them lying on my chex system report.....really bad bank and they never have anyone in the fraud department since they are doing all the fraud and making up lies.....might have to hire a lawyer to fight them in court over there fraud.(Name - Daniel Solum)

The team is amazing. I was in town to help my brother move his finances to the area. Gaby was able to fit us in her schedule and get us taken care of. Diana helped us get our cards and documents. Overall a great experience.

Golden 1 has exceptional customer service. Those who might complain may not realize the staffing shortages and the complexity of banking.Golden 1 is my go to Credit Union/Bank

I'm not sure why the gals & guys who serve this branch are always grumpy. What happened to the days when the bank staff made you feel welcome and invited. I feel like I'm at the D.M.V. when inside my local Atascadero Golden 1 branch. Bummer!:UPDATE: Golden 1 covered all cost to have all the sticks surgically removed from the Atascadero Golden 1 branch associates arses. The procedure was successful!!! Now, we are left with helpful, youthful, jovial, happy banking associates.

They canceled my direct payment and said we have a signed form with my signature on it. Said if I don’t come in and do another form, it will affect my credit. I NEVER singned any form.

I came to take care of some business for a family member who passed and was not in a good mood having to do it. Rita Leon handled my off balanced attitude with kid gloves. When the account matters were handled Rita helped me order new checks and reset my password for online banking. Thank you.

Sarah a worker here is incredibly, incredibly rude. She had a terrible attitude and way of talking to a customer. I do not recommend you deal with her at all and her boss and supervisor should look into her recorded call and listen to how disrespectful and unprofessional she was.

You can't EVER reach this place by phone. Even their toll free number won't go to a live person EVER. I've done the call back option also and 25+ minutes later it calls back and hangs up when you answer and they dot call back.

If you a credit union member who’s nearest branch is outside of the central coast and you are hoping to do your banking. Steer clear. This branch is rude and unhelpful and will not give you the help you need. They will make you feel less than.

If you a credit union member who's nearest branch is outside of the central coast and you are hoping to do your banking locally. Steer clear. This branch is rude, unhelpful and will not give you the time of day or even basic service you need. They will make you feel like you do not belong and will refuse service regardless of whether or not your credit union is a part of their partner network. Unbelievably rude, dismissive and disrespectful. Don't waste your time. Management ought to be ashamed.

Such a disappointment. I had to use their fraud protection & they failed me. I handed them a clear case with evidence & they found in favor the the scammer. I called & nobody helped. They requested I email & they gave me the wrong email address. How despicable. They can't be trusted

Horrible customer service at the window. Since when do the new accounts desk make themselves invisible when the line is almost out the door. Go to SLO where they care.

Our member service experiences at Golden 1's Atascadero branch have always been on a par with just about every other financial institution we've banked with. I never go in expecting red-carpet treatment, but endeavor always to be friendly to the tellers, and have been treated courteously and professionally in return. I think the longest I've ever had to wait to be helped was about three minutes, which down time was usefully spent contemplating the deeper things in life. So why five stars? In this period of mask-wearing, belt-tightening, uncertainty about so much, and only more ahead, we determined the course of wisdom was to take a cold, hard look at what we can do now to improve on and keep our individual situation sustainable. Yesterday evening (12/18/20) we reached out on G1's customer service line, spoke with "Vinnie", and asked if G1 could help us attain our goal with the plan we had in mind. After listening carefully to what exactly it was we were trying to accomplish, Vinnie came up with a far superior, time and cost-saving solution. After crunching numbers and getting our approval, Vinnie then put the wheels in motion and we had affirmations to proceed even before the call was over. Kudos and our thanks to Vinnie for a truly 5-star experience. Fast forward to tonight's (12/19) conversation with Cindy, who also went above and beyond, answering the phone two minutes before closing and then graciously staying after hours, and convincing a colleague to do the same - on a Saturday - just so we could obtain everything needed for the rollout of our new financial plan. Commendation is due and our thanks to Vinnie and Cindy for two outstanding member service experiences. We're VERY appreciative. Thanks as well to Golden 1 for not only hiring these exceptional representatives, but training them to assess, meet and exceed the needs of their members.
