Chalk Mountain Liquor just lost a dedicated customer who consistently spent about $20 per visit. Today, I went in to buy some drinks, including Arizona Ice Teas clearly marked at 99 cents on the can. However, at the register, they were ringing up at $1.69 +. I pointed out the discrepancy to the cashier, who admitted knowing about it but refused to honor the advertised price.
This is outrageous customer service. It's unacceptable to advertise one price and charge another, especially such a significant difference. Despite living nearby and being a loyal customer for decades, I will never set foot in this store again because of this incident.
Consider this a warning to others and know that you've lost any future business from me.

Chill liquor store with a huge selection and reasonable prices (the gas is too). They're unique feature is the hot food prepared and served on the premises. The fried chicken has been delicious Everytime and the Mojo's are seasoned well but sometimes crispier than others. Great selection, friendly staff, and a cool little store

Saw these Strawberry swishers in a locked cabinet next to the liquor in the back fridges. Politely asked the clerk if I could get a pack and he said "we don't have any." I told the employee they were in the cabinet and he said "we don't have any." Never will I ever be coming here for anything again. I would give it zero stars but it's not possible :)

I was buying tonite , and I asked the guy if he had any change for a five dollar bill he said he didn't have any change , when I bought another item he had a bunch of dollar bills , it's ok you don't want to change bills I get it , but lying in my face trying to make me feel stupid , we are not kids anymore to be lying or playing those games specially for this old man wearing a hat , he looks really rude , the other employees who just to worked there were amazing those 2 employees sucks , honestly and gabbing my drink from the top that was nasty , you have to grab it front the middle or the top not the mouth part , I been a customer for about 21 years and I think today it was my last day there good luck owner with those employees in loosing customers

Staff is super friendly, but I have been told by staff members that they don't accept coins as payment anymore it has to be cash or card and I have seen expired pasta dating back to 2018 on the shelf and 2023...2018 and it's now 2024...other than that I like the store.

Best gas prices, awesome food, tons of snacks and drinks, the staff are all wonderful, I'd live on their potatoes if I could.
