Have been taken off the payment option plan due to having to file a bankruptcy. Note that the bankruptcy never included Amerigas bill ever...I always paid my bill was late a few times and it couldn't be helped because I'm the only one working and I take care of my father who has heart disease.Rude customer service reps. They can only run my credit score to tell me I don't qualify to be put back on the payment plan. I was told there are 2 tiers I have to qualify for in order to be put back on payment plan. But customer service rep couldn't tell me what scores I needed to qualify for tier 1 or tier 2.I have no other options for a propane service because I rent the trailer I live at. Horrible way to do business.$544 for 100 gallons all up front for a person who has to pay lights, rent, food, gas and everything else with inflation...they can't even offer a discount code or anything to try and help.I would never recommend using this company to anyone. Horrible prices & Horrible customer service.

Amerigas services our neighbor. We live behind a gate on a one-lane road. One of their drivers almost hit our family in our golf cart on our one-lane road. He was probably traveling 40 mph. My 2-year-old, myself and my husband were out feeding animals in the golf cart driving down our drive way, and if I didnt hear the diesel truck speeding around the blind corner I wouldn't have dove off the road into the dirt and would have been hit. There is NO excuse to speed when you are on someone's driveway. There are animals and kids that were put in danger, completely inexcusable. We called to complain and they could have cared less, didnt ask for the address or the day it happened. So be careful if they are driving on your road!

Hello,I've had an empty tank that has been needing to get picked up for over 6 months. We aquired the empty tank with our property when we purchased the home after the previous home owner canceled the account. The previous home owner who is copied to this email was told that the empty tank would get picked up within a few weeks. The tank has been sitting next to my front driveway since November 2022. Despite multiple frustrating phone calls from us and the previous homeowner to your call center in the Phillipines for the past 6+ months, Amerigas has failed to pick up the tank. The tank is in a location of the driveway where it's at risk of being hit by a vehicle or a high powered yard maintenance equipment and it seems that Amerigas simply doesn't care for our family's safety. I just called three times today just to get hung up on and told that the account has been closed. When I reiterate that the account had indeed been closed six months ago but the tank hasn't been picked up, the customer experience advocate said that she doesn't see a tank that needs to get picked up. I've explained my frustration during numerous phone calls which have resulted in the customer experience advocate simply ending the phone call, after a long hold. I've never dealt with such poor customer service, the reps don't speak clearly, and have no idea how to resolve a customer's concern. They've simply told me that there's isn't a local location where I can call to schedule a pick up because apparently all local locations have stopped accepting calls. Us and the previous owners have been given the run around for the past 6+ months, just for a simple - empty tank pick up! Please be informed that I'm willing to contact any state or local agency that will enforce rules to hold Amerigas accountable. I just posted a message on the Amerigas consumer complaints Facebook page and learned about the hundreds of other people who have had a terrible experience with Amerigas. Rest assured that I plan to do everything under my power as a consumer to enlighten the world about our experience with Amerigas.

This company charges you for service calls but they do not tell you there will be a charge. Twice now they have tried to pull this shenanigan on me.

They missed several scheduled appointments to refill our tank, no phone call. Then we just randomly show up.We had a regulator fail in the middle of winter, took me three days to just get a hold of someone and schedule a repair, repair person never showed up. No phone call. Tried to reschedule and was told there are no service people in California. Canceled service and went with a new company.Canceled contract with them to go with a more reliable company and they chose to charge us a contract, cancellation fee, and a tank pick up fee to watch again they missed their schedule pick up dates and then just randomly showed up. Refused to give us credit for the unused propane in our tank.Do yourself a favor stay away from This company

I moved from my home in November and contacted American gas to close out my account. I requested a refund for remaining gas. In January I was billed for the propane tank. When I called to dispute bill and to find out what happened with my refund. They told me that they removed the rental fee and the case was closed. I told them the case wasn't closed because I had never been paid for the 20% of gas that was left in the tank when I moved. They just gave my gas away to the new tenant. Since covid they have closed the local office and now everything gets routed to a call center in a foreign country where the people don't understand complex problems and nothing gets resolved especially if it involves refund of your money . Service is horrible you have been warned.

Was with northern energy, then amerigas bought them. Now my complaints are the same as all the others. No show, can’t schedule, no phone call to let you know they are unable to show up.I’ll be switching companies.Update 12/2/22:Propane regulator is been trouble shot by me to verify it is broken. Scheduled service tech. No one showed up, no phone call. Called customer service again, apparently there are not any Amerigas service technicians in California?

Terrible place to go to for propane. Started as a new customer. Was told I would be getting one thing on a certain day. I took off work. They didn't show and no one called. It took me taking off work 4 times waiting for a technician before I finally got someone out. Mind you this is almost now a month with no propane. Then I have something completely different charged to my account, I had to call. All you reach is a call center who knows nothing. They have no idea what's going on or how to fix these issues. I'm currently being charged for something I do not have, and apparently the call center can't help with that but they definitely can charge me for their mess ups. This place has been so frustrating and awful to work with. I would recommend going ANYWHERE else if you have the choice to.

Unable to get propane delivery. Out of propane. Customer service is offshore and give lip service at best. Can not speak to anyone local. Have been left on hold after speaking to representative for more than 30 minutes. I have been a customer for 9 years and have an annual contract with company. Today is February 1st.

After placing a delivery request on 1-13-21 with a latest delivery date of 1-26-21, I have yet to receive a delivery. Have informed the company of our household having no propane with 5 different service reps, STILL NOTHING! Will definitely begin looking at other options, would not recommend if you want prompt delivery. Service reps have been nice, but I just want a delivery.

Terrible service, takes a minimum of 20min to get in contact with someone in the office. I had scheduled a delivery for Jan 7 after two weeks no show and gas to 0 I call them and was promised to have gas that very day. They didn’t show I tried to get in contact but was hung up on. Decided to call central coast propane the next day and within one hour they were at my house to get me a new tank with gas. Terrible service I recommend another company!

They have terrible service! I had contacted them Jan 7th to have them come out and fill our tank. We were out of town and when we got back we had no gas at all. This was on Sunday Jan 24th. I contacted them Jan 25 Monday and they did apologize for it not being done since there was record that they were suppose to come but for some unknown reason they didn't. The manager told me that they would have it done ASAP since this was past the two weeks but of course they didn't come out. I call the office at 4 before they close and I couldn't get a hold of anyone and once I did they hung up on me. Very poor service. Thanks to central coast gas for being able to accommodate me as soon as I called and came out within an hour after my call.
