“They went above and beyond!! Fixed my windshield wiper in the pouring rain for free! When there was a backlog of cars. What?! There was a missing part the other shop couldn’t fix properly, and using some wire he was able to keep it on. It’s stayed on in use for over a year now! Also they replaced my brake drums after I drove too long with bad brakes. Very quick and direct about the issue, no fluff. Felt very honest. Thank you!! Your act of kindness in the rain during a hard time in my life will never be forgotten!”

“I am giving it a pretty top rating because while it is a crowded gas station and it does have its traffic problems, the prices are some of the lowest in the East Bay which is really nice. They've got a full compliment mini Mart, and a sell lotto tickets.”

“I just visit this Gas Station because of two facts: the amazing customer service and the very cheap gas price.The star missing in my review is because I was there and one of the pumps wasn’t working and didn’t have the sign. I went inside, I payed for the gas, and the guy told me: “Are you sure you want gas on number x.” So he wasn’t sure what was happening in the pump. Then I went out just to find that the nozzle was gone. I had to come back inside and I asked the guy to move my credit to another pump. I asked the one on the front for easier movement. “That one doesn’t work either.” So I had to move to another pump.Anyways, if you have time and limited money, go there. A peasant like me is very pleased to find this wonderful cheap places where we can survive in this tumultuous adventure of life.”
“Love that your debit card is not charged as a credit price here. You get the cash price on a debit card, major plus for me. Plenty of pumps never even seen one pump station here all summer not working. Was able to pump and get out quick. Close to the freeway and bayfair mall. Pretty good prices too in gas especially close to the freeway, most stations are more.”
“AJ is an excellent and trusted mechanic. We’re glad to have him in the neighborhood. Whether a flat tire or more complicated issues, he’s quick and very well priced. We’ve stopped taking our Toyota and BMW to the dealers and now go to AJ for servicing needs. Our relatively low-mileage Toyota SUV recently developed a shake while driving, which was only exasperated by an expensive and botched repair by the dealer; AJ diagnosed and fixed the problem within hours of dropping in for an extremely fair price. We will be back!”
“Called in for a full detail. Staff are supremely efficient and courteous.
The vehicle was an outback suv, it was immaculate after. The before was a vehicle used daily and vigorously. This was a thorough and effective operation and I couldn't recommended them more highly. It is a popular establishment so consider your timing. You'll certainly get your moneys worth.

“Cheapest gas around helps to overlook the over state of this place, although it's getting better. It can be chaos at the pumps sometimes one is down coming in and out of the place can be an issue. Also sometimes the peeps behind the counter can be distracted with tasks they should put off until customers are taken care of, or maybe have one of the other two cashiers help out instead of just making you feel stupid while they try not to look directly at you while they do nothing.”
“Doesn't look like much, but they do one thing, refill propane tanks, and they do it well. The cheapest quickest and most convenient way to get your propane tanks refilled in East Oakland that I've found. I save a ton of money compared to doing the tank exchange thing at gas stations or hardware stores. Looks like they have new ownership and place has been spruced up a bit, still a great bargain.”

The owner is incredibly kind and even stayed a few minutes after closing to make sure my car was able to be seen on a Saturday afternoon. He took extra caution to make sure my Honda was parked inside following the influx of catalytic converter theft in the area. He quoted me a price 1/3 of what Honda planned to charge me- parts included! He was conservative with his diagnosis of the my vehicle. I'm happy to have a mechanic in the area I can trust with fair prices and good work!”

“The good:I was feeling peckish and was in the area after work. I got some interesting snacks here that included Tapatio corn fry chips, TaJin peach rings, mango Tajin hemp drink and cookies and cream covered pretzels. The interior was organized and the shelves had everything neatly aligned. The shop is quiet and small. The area is usually not very busy. The bad:There's no slushy machine and no hot and ready foods (at least not at the time I came). The interesting:They sell Asian snacks like Hello Panda and Hi-Chew as well as Mexican snacks and packaged pastries.”

“Brought my car here out of desperation after my other mechanics retired and closed their shops. Very pleasantly surprised. The mechanic (don't know his name, but there's only one, and he's an owner I believe) was very knowledgeable. He was able to source scarce Honda parts (this was during covid supply chain issues). His prices are *very* reasonable. I will continue to bring my work here. Actually reluctant to post this review in case he gets too much work and can't fit me in.One limitation seems to be that the car needs to be running when you bring it in (no tow-ins).On the fueling side of the business I rate as 4.5 stars. The easy access to air is nice and quite rare in Oakland (in spite of whatever the law requires). Fuel prices are good considering this upscale neighborhood. I would give 5 stars if they had clean soapy water to clean my windshield.”

“Easy, convenient way to get your propane tank(s) filled. An attendant is there to help you fill your tank. After they fill it up, they give you a post-it with the amount filled. Bring that into the shop and pay at the cash register. Cheaper than swapping tanks.”
