They charged me for than the price we agreed on and they overcharged for everything

Avoid this place. Shopping for an event can be difficult so make sure you shop around and DONT get led into buying a piece right at the moment. This boutique presents itself as very well kept, as it is very nice walking in but the customer service is what’s most important if I’m buying an outfit worth hundreds of dollars. I found an outfit and tried it on, it went over my head. That does not mean the suit fits. Here’s where the problem starts. I come out of the fitting room 2 times trying to express that it seems weirdly fitted in on me the arms are weird the chest area looks fluffy…. It just did not fit as the way it should have been fitting but no I was shut down and made my mother believe it looked good. I went home and tried it on again and I was like no way I’m wearing it like this so I took it back the next day and said fix it. With a smirk on her face she looks at it and says it’s fine she can’t do anything else to it… excuse me? So you made me pay $25 just for you to not be able to properly tailor my clothing? What kinda joke is that? I could’ve taken it somewhere else in the first place smh. She fixes it a bit and I try it on and at this point I just gave up. If you can’t tailor clothing properly don’t offer that service at all? As I was walking out she tells her other coworker “oh these folks had doubt it didn’t fit” WHAT?? Instead of apologizing, instead of owning up to YOUR mistake you blame your customers for coming in for something that wasn’t fixed correctly? I’m glad I live close by would be unfortunate for those who live far and would have to come back multiple times… Oh and I got it tailored by another person and he even said whatever she did to it was a horrible job and the zipper was done horribly. Be careful shopping here.

I’ve been shopping at three stores in Artesia for clothing for an Indian wedding and felt very overwhelmed and stressed each time. I ended up getting indowestern clothing online. I took my husband to get his outfits and it could not have been a more opposite experience. We accidentally stopped in Vitha Jewelers. All of the staff was so nice, but Kajal (sorry if I messed up the name) was unbelievably helpful. She gave us realistic advice on each event like what colors, styles, formality, when to wear western, etc. so much BETTER than even the bride has for the past year. We were so relaxed and never pressured and even got some options to “change up” one outfit and use his kurta for two events (this has been unheard of in other stores). We left with two kurta sets for him and so happy with our purchases and experience. Really couldn’t recommended highly enough.

Nice store has great sitting area. My mom was having issues with her earrings. The owner was able to help her understand and was able to make her happy.

I went here several times!! They are extremely rude people especially those who speak Pashto!!! They treat customers really bad!! They tell them why are you asking for gold prices if you are not buying the gold!! All the Indian in artesian are nice people! People in this store should be boycotted! Shame on these loosers!!!!

I was asked to be a bridesmaid to one of my best friends. Who was doing a pretty traditional Indian wedding. I def panicked a little when I saw the events and how many dresses I needed. When I looked them up online I was overwhelmed with the abundance of offerings and heard stories of people not getting outfits delivered and tailored in time. My friend, who is also in the bridal party and I first went down the street to another large boutique and got completely ignored. So then we left and went to Vitha, we were greeted by Kajal and we told her how much our budget was and showed her some pictures of dresses we like. She pulled out two dresses for me and absolutely nailed it. I also asked her if she could style me with jewelry. Honestly I was very skeptical of how it would go at the wedding events since I bought the first two dresses that were offered to me. I got many compliments that night and I told them it was all thanks to this chick named Kajal who styled me! Thanks Kajal!!

Bought a lehnga from this store, then saw the SAME EXACT lehnga with the same quality for $200 less a few stores down (divine glo). I went back to get a price adjustment and they completely refused. Wouldn’t go back.

I had a wonderful experience today. Both sisters were super nice and helpful. They took their time showing me pieces and explained what everything was. I liked that they didn't try to push me to buy things. They really wanted me to find whatever suited my personal taste the best.
