I was working when my food arrived so it sat for 30 minutes and yet the fries were still crispy and the egg was so delicious! I just found my new lunch spot.

11825 Artesia Blvd, ArtesiaI can't begin to explain how much of a local gem this place is! I came in on a whim one day because I was hungry and looking for a breakfast sandwich. So I gave California Bakehouse a shot. Great spacious interior with a beautiful smell of freshly baked breads. The cashier was so polite and helpful but more than that, I had the pleasure of meeting Alan, who is the owner and proud baker. He told me that the sourdough recipe has been in the family for 40+ years and I could tell. The first bite of my breakfast sandwich had me jumping for joy. I would HIGHLY recommend The California Bakehouse!

Location of this place is amazing. Quite a small space to dine in but fits in a group of 2-3 perfectly. Best would be to take out.
Pizza was amazing. We tried vegetarian options of Peppy and cheese makhani pizza (with additional paneer). Size and price of the pizza were worth it.
Only point to note was, the service could have been faster. The cashier himself had to bake the pizza. However, he did a great job when the pizza was served.
Overall must try place especially for vegetarian options.

18361 Pioneer Blvd, ArtesiaI was in the area and searching for boba. Imagine my amazement when I saw that Quickly is still alive and kicking. I haven't been in over 15 years, and I was honestly excited to see the interior of this Artesia store. The signage and furniture have seen better days, but they all seem to be original and have that burnt orange charm. The menu also seems to be the same, modern trends be damned. I ordered some popcorn chicken with medium spice, which I have fond memories of from middle school. It came out piping hot and tasted exactly as I remember. Which is to say, it was damn good! Juicy, perfectly spicy and served in that classic wax paper bag. Truly a happy moment in these crazy times. I can't speak to other Quickly locations, but this one will take you back to good old 2003. Keep it up!
