Have an emergency usage to close two CD accounts that would be in mature about one month. Called and Emailed and said it would be done. I called to confirm after a week not received, and was told it was mailed. Called again after three days. Was told it is just mailed. I would be coming to get the check in person if not was told IT WAS MAILED. This bank does not want you to close account and take money even with penalty. Other than that the service is okay.

Subject: Unpleasant Experience at HAB Bank - 928 S Broadway, Suite D, Los Angeles, CA 90015 I recently had a disheartening experience at the HAB Bank branch on 928 S Broadway. Despite my attempt to open a personal account, I felt racially profiled by the branch manager, who questioned my previous attempt to open a business account, criticized my signature, and even raised her voice during the encounter. The branch manager, despite being a woman of color herself, displayed behavior that was both unsettling and unprofessional. After opening the account without issue initially, I received a call the next day insisting I return to resign forms due to dissatisfaction with my signature. During my return visit, the manager not only contested my signature's match with my ID but also resorted to yelling, creating an uncomfortable confrontation and even suggesting I close my account if I disagreed. This experience was disappointing, as I had hoped to establish a positive relationship with my neighborhood bank. Instead, I encountered unnecessary scrutiny, hostility, and unprofessional conduct. I believe such incidents should be addressed to ensure a more inclusive and respectful environment for all customers.

As a customer constantly feel judged and lectured too because u don't know the details of there broken backwards systems. The fact that In person banking should be either friendly and courteous, or quick and convenient is completely lost on the staff. Every customer is a "challenge" for which the staff is always visibly irritated, any question, concern or request is an imposition of epic proportions. I want to say every time I'm sorry for banking with u I know I'm a bother can u please help me anyway. Should a customer feel that way the way u answer that question is the way you would feel about a review of this business.

Los Angeles Branch is so much better. The people at this branch are so not helpful and always have an attitude.
