I have been coming here to Daming for almost 10 years now since I was introduced by a family friend. They’ve seen and taken care of me and my previous 3 cars. Steven Lao Ban and the previous owner have always run an honest, efficient shop. Always convincing me out of expensive fixes and telling me I don’t need to do certain things until maybe “5k more mile ok, just come back I’ll take care of it”. I recommend him to all my friends and family locally. He’s never the guy who’s going to price gouge you - what he asks for is fair and he does great work!I’ve also confirmed his credibility with 2 of my uncles who own body shops in other states ha ha. He’s legit ?

I don't think the owner knows much about car repair. I came here and believe that my clutch pedal has a problem because I am driving a stick shift. I wanted him to check. Without further checking, he replaced a brand-new clutch pedal and it costs me $800. The next day, I still have problems shifting. I came here again and let him check, he drove my car a bit and told me there is no problem with the stick shift, and told me to come back when it does. When it is my turn to drive, I could not shift my gear, it is quite dangerous on the road. I brought it to another car repair, they told me it was the clutch disc that had already worn out after many miles. Cost me another thousand but the car is fixed now. Money has gone down the drain with this owner who could not diagnose the problem.

Honest and affordable. No big bucks spent here. Owner is experienced and giving good advise for maintenance. Primary Mandarin and with basic English and still be able to communicate even you speak English only. Popular among Asian communities for good services with minimum cost. Highly recommended!
