I have tried calling the pharmacy for 2 days with no luck 1 time someone actually pick up the phone but then they hang up. Why in the world would you give out you phone number if you don't plan on answering the phone!

I'm writing about the pharmacy and the stuff are really nice. I'm new to the area and I was nervous about picking up my prescription but the guy who helped me was really friendly and nice, I think his name was Avery. Overall it was a great and respectful experience.

I've been in twice now and have had Heather be rude to me and also witnessed her be rude to another customer. She seems very miserable at her job. The extra star is because I appreciated the prescription being ready when I got there.

Told me that another pharmacy already had refilled my prescription and they can't do that. I told them that I have neve went to another pharmacy. I'm only filling blood pressure medication. I asked for clarification and they told me to call my insurance. The pharmacist was right there in front of me and he turned to the side and smiled. I am a person of color and what they didn't know was that I served my country for 25 years and don't appreciate that type of treatment. I decided to not say anything due to not being 100% sure if this is racism or not. So I went to another Rite Aid to make sure if this was true. IT WASN'T. They filled the prescription with no issues. RACIST pure and simple. I never write reviews but I wanted to make sure that this information got out.

PHARMACY DEPT. I went in to pick up one prescription. The Amazon woman behind the register refused to scan my Good RX card. Said I already got a discount. My co-pay (I don't have insurance) was $88.00. Unfriendly and rude about it.

Super nice staff. I just wanted to mention that the new see through rubber on the credit card machines makes it more difficult to type in numbers. I had to use my pinky at an odd angle just to keep from messing up again. Just entering my phone number there would always be 1 number that wasn't correct and the guy came around and did it for me. It feels like the rubber people put on couches! My fingers are too fat for that rubber covering. I never had such a hard time entering numbers into a card reader in my life! I just wanted to tear that rubber off off so I could type my info in correctly.

Be prepared to spend at least an hour when you go to get a COVID shot.... even if you have an appointment. I waited 45 minutes to get my injection. No apology for the long wait. Nothing. And it was dead in there. And then for COVID you are supposed to wait 15 minutes after. I did not have time to do that since I waited so long before my injection. Nice clean area, private room for injection. But I will never go there again. Ever. Total disrespect for my time and my appointment time.

This pharmacy has improved considerably since Eric has become the new manager. I am very happy with the way they keep up with all my refills now, I can't remember the last time I heard anybody say "we're working on it" . I'm glad Eric decided to stay. The pharmacy staff seem to be a lot happier too, they are more than willing to step out from behind the counter and show you the products/medications that are right for you.

Love this pharmacy and the druggist are very helpful and through. Been going to Oakpark Rite Aide for over 6 years and always I feel they are looking for my best interest. Making sure for the right drug interactions.

Pharmacy staff wasn't very helpful or polite which was unfortunate because I went in there after getting my wisdom teeth pulled and was in a lot of pain. The pharmacist himself was very nice but not the other staff.

Ok, so first thing the guy in the pharmacy who's about to give me a vaccination says is "so what do you think about Trump?" I don't care what your persuasion is politically...broaching a hot button issue like this is not a professional way to conduct business.

I have been coming here for awhile and the pharmacist and his staff has always pleasant, but there are times when they are a bit snotty, but I've had days when I've been real busy and tired, you just have to keep in mind, we all have those days.

Came into this rite aid pharmacy today to pick up medicine. Asked the pharmacist about if this medicine I was getting was safe for a breastfeeding mother. He pulled out his phone.. then read a few sentences to me from his phone basically saying yes it's safe. I asked him... did you just google it?! He replied, yes you can just google anything. Ummm what? I told him I thought I was getting a professional consult with a pharmacist, not random information off google. His response, well you can just consult ur physician. No i can't because it's a holiday and I have to start the medication today. I asked if he has any pamphlets or info directly from the company and not google. He says no. I say I would like verified info not google info. He says oh call the number on the box. Well the hotline is closed bc it's a holiday. NOT helpful or knowledgeable.Tell me why a pharmacist is googling things instead of getting legitimate information? I will never come here again.

This pharmacy is promptness is horrible. I call in for prescription refills regularly for must needed medication. I set a time/date for pickup and it the RX is NEVER ready at this time. I have to call the pharmacist everytime, to which he/she states "oh we haven't worked on that yet". I usually have to wait an additional 6-12hrs before the script is finally ready.
