“This store is unfortunately closing in SLO. I say unfortunately because you can find in this store a variety of lovely clothes for a reasonable price, all organized in a pleasing manner. Their final sale today is 50 to 60% off, and I bought six items, all really great. I always found the woman behind the desk friendly and helpful, and I will miss it. There is another Lavender Blu in Arroyo Grande, but it is not as inviting. There is also Poppy in Morro Bay which is apparently linked to Lavender Blu and carries similar items. I find it sad that we have to go to Arroyo Grande or Morro Bay to find elegant clothing at a reasonable price, but that's the way it has become in downtown SLO.”

“I love this company, so happy they have one here in SAN LUIS OBISPO since they closed they one in SF where I just moved from. I had a pair of Great New Balance Shoes that I returned after a week or so since the stitching was coming apart. Great shoes, never had this issue before. They took them back no problem and mailed me a replacement pair Super Fast!! The salesperson was very helpful, just an absolute dear…☺️”
“Great store with super nice staff! The online Journey's website was messing up when I went here to look for a specific pair of boots. They had the boots I wanted in stock in my size, were great about going to get them from the back, and were very helpful in figuring out a way for me to use my Unidays coupon that I was having trouble accessing online. Have been buying Dr Martens here for about 5 years and this location has always been great.”

They were working to stock shelves as fast as they could. But they stopped to assist customers . Very courteous, professional. Although they did not have my husbands size, I will be back. “I went in for work shoes, Skechers are the most comfortable work shoes I have found. I couldn't find the ones I normally get so I asked if they could look me up and we could order them online? “This place has so much to offer and the service is fantastic. No matter who's working they're always so helpful. I tried on a couple of things today unfortunately didn't work for me. But my girlfriend bought a couple of things off the sale rack so that was good. They have dresses and sweaters, flip-flops things for young children, purses, just about anything you could want. I've bought plenty of gifts and stuff for myself over the years.”

“I want to acknowledge both Erik Kvernplassen and Monica Vang for excellent customer service. My niece and I purchased several items last week at the SLO store and the two different cashiers left the security tags on them. I filled out the customer survey and made note of the mistake. In less than 24 hours, Erik contacted me and made arrangements to have someone come to my house to remove the tags. Monica drove from the SLO store to my house in north county so I wouldn't have to make a trip back to the store.
The SLO Nordstrom Rack maybe small, but the customer service is outstanding!”

“I recently went to hives to look around and oh my gosh, they have the cutest things ever! Later I went back to purchase sandals and a backpack, the girl there was so helpful and kind, hives has became my favorite boutique and this is definitely the dream place to work at, I’ll definitely come back”
