I love the people that work here. Always kind and helpful. I even have them come into my place of business. Just wish 1 of the 3 banks in the area were open on Saturday.

Would not do business with a bank who issue 4-h children's fair animal checks and then refused to cash them. Even with a birth certificate

I have accounts with Mechanics Bank so when I needed a document notarized I went to Mechanics Bank. Nicole Olaphant (sp?) helped me and was kind, efficient and helpful. She was a pleasure and very gracious. You are lucky (or smart) to have her working for you.Sincerely,Linda Frey

This branch is the worst run branch. The tellers are great people, but I have been banking here for 22 years. This management is the worst. Never enough tellers. Way before covid they were short handed. The girls behind the desks used to come and help while there was a shortage of tellers..management stopped thatt.

A couple years ago, I went in to cash a check at the Santa Maria branch and was treated so well; despite being a Wells Fargo customer. That kind customer service left an impression on me and last month I opened an account at the Orcutt, CA branch near me. AWESOME service! In their little waiting area, they have a book on the Elks Rodeo and Parade... loved reading that... brings back alot of good memories. Just wanted to send a little love your way... Thanks Isaura for helping me out with all my questions, and Marlene Porter too! I really am grateful for the level of customer service you showed me.

The only good branch I have come across is the Broad St location in San Luis Obispo. I am unfortunately hugely disappointed in this branch on E Grand. Especially Emily the teller, if you don't know the answer, isn't it your job to find it. You do work for Mechanics. Rather than just instructing the customer to call the 800 #. Maybe that's why the customer came into the bank to talk to a real person who works for Mechanics. Last I checked I thought if you work for the company your supposed to be knowledgeable and familiar with the services. Hmmmm? Guess somehow it's changed into - I don't know the answer so I will just brush the customer off so it's not my problem. Awful awful awful customer service!!! Thanks Emily for such a great experience and service- NOT!!! Emily, here's a pointer maybe brush up on the services and actually be assistance to customers. Rather than keeping your brain constricted to just deposits and cashing checks - broaden your horizon of the actual services and how they work. Who knows - could even help you in the future to possibly move up in the company. Unless you don't care which your customer service reflects that.

I feel that Rabobank is antiquated. How is it that patrons still need to fill out withdrawal and deposit slips? Any other credit union or bank does not require this step. I find this incredibly inefficient and irritating. Additionally their receipts are overly simplified. If you deposit more than one check at once it does not delineate the two different deposits but rather lumps it into one deposit amount. Other credit unions and banks delineate this information and give you an updated account balance. Because Rabobank doesn't it impacts record keeping and whenever I have to deposit two checks I have to turn it into two separate transactions. There is much room for improvement from Rabobank in improving practices to support efficiency and customer service.

Business owners beware!!!!!! Rabo bank has a new tier system for deposit. Make to many on a business account and they will change you a % fee based on your deposit. Called customer service, The poor person on the other end who is limited to a scrip couldn't refer me to a supervisor. She said there were not any working. Really???

Had a check to stop payment on and was told it would cost $35.00. I have Over $60,000.00 in a account and you would think they would waver the cost. I'm moving to another bank that gives it clients some free help with that much money they are making off your money.
