I went to OfficeMax to purchase paper for my printer. The paper I selected was marked at a particular price. But when I got to the register, they tried to charge me a higher price. I explained to them that the price beneath the stack of paper had a lower price. They didn't bother to go back and look and they refused to honor the price that they had misplaced under the paper. I will not be returning to this store again. I won't put up with such dishonesty.

OMG ... WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Do not go here. Actually spoke to manager on duty .. think his name was Robert, who was NO help and mean! Horrible customer service and extremely rude.

I had a great experience with the young woman working the print and copy department. I had previously ordered blueprints to be printed at another Office Max location and when I picked them up the quantity was wrong. I went in to the Arroyo Grande location to see if the could fix my order. The lady working the print and copy department (I'm sorry I didn't ask her name) was very helpful and quickly resolved the issue.

Only one register and extremely poor service. I will not go here again. After waiting quite a long time in a one person line and finally getting my turn to buy one item, the cashier left.

Go elsewhere if you need any sort of guidance or assistance with packing and shipping. The staff at the fedex counter seemed annoyed in general that I had something to ship out. First thing she said was that she had no shipping supplies at the counter so I had to go get pick them out. It took me forever only to realize they didnt have a box or any packaging that my item would fit in. I went back to the counter and asked for any suggestions, and she said I would have to an actual fedex store. Biggest waste of time ever!

I've never watched such slow and lackluster staff work a copy and print center. There are three people sitting around doing nothing, working at snails pace while customers are frustrated, showing all the body expressions of disbelief in the slow quality service. It's comedy, entertaining and kinda adorably funny at this point. I'm hoping this might be a training evening or something. But every time I've been here, I've experienced the same thing. Glad they have chairs fur customers. It reminds me of going to the doctor, and just going from one waiting room to the next. Welcome to Office Depot, if you like the DMV, you'll love us.

Had a great experience at OfficeMax in Arroyo Grande. Staff was friendly and helpful locating a printer cartridge and even matched their competitors price. Turns out the cartridge was not the problem and even though I opened it they gave me a full refund. Will definitely be back.

Looking for office chairs. One on sale not on floor to check out. Only can see in boxes on top shelf around store. How do they do any business if they do not promote their stock and sale items!
