Although their packing and quality is very good, not sure why I paid .75 each for “micro pinkies” that are the same size as pinkies. I could have paid .29 each from another company. When I reached out wasn’t satisfied with their response. I have been keeping and breeding snakes since the 1980s and had a rodent breeding operation for a while. So I know what I need and I know what a fire red 1 hour pink looks like.

Been purchasing through these guys since 2010. Really disappointed that theres two style of rats you can get. All white Or you can get colored rats for 50cents ea more. They used to charge a flat fee and you would get healthy mixed assortment of rats. not knowing the option for colored rats ive been doing the regular order getting all white and to be honest not healthy or clean looking rodents. I literally just figured this out. These all white rats they are sending me havr a foul odor, after i feeb my boy i have to remove the snake, bath it and wash the tub because the tub will smell really bad afterwards. After 10 years of being loyal Im thinking i might go through another source. Also dont get the medium/large stuff its all the smaller size never a large in there. Feels more like a hustle than an honest trust worthy source. Layne you need to step it up, the last year or two’s order has been lame.

Life saver! #1 the micro pinkies arrived very frozen all the way from CA to OK. #2 my daughter's 2.5 month old corn snake needed tiny pinkies, it wouldn't eat a pinky from the stores near us. First attempt with the micro pinky, the snake gobbled it up!

Wouldn't use anyone else. The careful attention to detail is beyond obvious. The mice and rats I get for my snakes are scent free, they aren't covered in urine and feces like some other providers, they are individually placed and are not all smashed together. They couldn't be more respectful of their feeders and they are AVMA approved. Since I work in the veterinary field all of these things are important to me.

I love Layne Labs. It always amazes me how fast my order gets processed and shipped. The website I was ordering from usually takes atleast a week to process my order, Layne Labs just provided my tracking information within 12 hours of my order! From now on this will be my only source for my snakes meals.

Reliable carrier of frozen feeders for someone with a small reptile collection, as well as staying affordable for someone that does not buy feeders in a large quality at a time. Purchased from them multiple times to the LA county area and never had a problem. Took about two days to arrive with plenty of dry ice left. Overall great quality feeders (better than any other online feeder company I've ordered from) and happy to keep ordering from them again in the future and would recommend.

We just got into snakes, been keeping lizards for several years and we quickly found that the pet store frozen feeders are not great quality. I’m in many groups on Facebook and I have always heard wonderful things about Layne Labs. Today we received our very first order from them and I couldn’t be happier! The rodents were packaged with such care and completely frozen with much ice to spare when they arrived in PA from CA. Will definitely purchase here again. Also Layne Labs allows you to buy small quantities of different sizes for people like us with just two growing snakes rather than 50QTY of just one size like other online retailers!

I've never been more satisfied with feeders for my four pet snakes than from these guys. Got my first order shipped to SC in 90+ degree heat and there was still plenty of dry ice left. Feeders all look healthy and humanely frozen unlike other companies where the animals are literally broken. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for the best quality feeders for their rodent-eating pets.
