1800 East Grand Avenue Suite P, Grover Beach“I love this place. My goodness, they even have my Traxxas Hoss body that has been discontinued! There are other sections for just about any hobby you can imagine. I think this is a great place for kids, young adults and elders. They even have a few Rage RC planes for beginner pilots like me. I came there specifically for repairs to my steering column on the Traxxas Hoss. I drove it a little hard along the beach. I was worried that they didn't sell spare parts because Yelp's pictures made it look like it's not a serious hobby place. I'm glad I called because Zach said they got "some parts". One thing he got wrong is that they don't just have some parts but they have everything for Traxxas and Armas! Prices are fair and I encourage all of you to always support your local stores. Zach knows a lot about these RC trucks. I'm able to potentially diagnose another problem and possibly fix it when I get home. He doesn't do repairs at the time of this writing because it just takes up too much time. I totally understand and I hope he can someday find time again as some of us wouldn't mind paying for the service. I bought a few other parts I may need in the future, and I now found a hobby home in the Pismo area.”
“The only store in a 50 mile radius that sells collectible sports trading cards, the prices are fair market value and the owner has extensive knowledge on the hobby.
Highly recommended for collectors.”
“It's a Michaels it's easily a good store just with that. This one is pretty good even for a Michaels. They are well-stocked and have lots of little sales. I think I'd like it better if their regular prices were a bit better, but they've always been kind at the register so I have no real complaints.”
“Alot of very interesting stuff. Craft supplies , shelving, garden accessories. A wide selection of items. I looked at some shelves, and found the price to be double what they are elsewhere.”
“So have not been to Michael's in sometime and of course, like everything else it's changed. In the past, I bought some beautiful silk flower arrangements and you really can't find them now. I went in to get two frames and I wanted metal, like a turquoise color. Didn't find anything, but I found navy blue that work for two prints. Still some nice stuff and I did get the frames buy one get one 50% off so that really helps. Sometimes the frames cost more than the prints. I saw a lot of nice things I like, but I'm downsizing so did not want to go overboard.”
“Located just outside the Pismo Beach area. 15 minutes from SLO ....we took the opportunity to check this shop out and it was worth our experience. Its a small, true sports memorabilia shop but houses plenty of memory bilia. Lots of frames, autographed items, and individual cards. Plenty for the young collector to 'awe' over and look thru and enough for the ol collecta to really appreciate. The owner is a welcoming host! (I mean, i read some reviews and i can see where people Can deem him to come off uninviting on the initial walk in but thats probably because ur a tourist and/or do not understand the M.O. of visiting a memorabila shop....show respect, get respect. As far as the shop, its like checking out a small museum ....sports memorabilia holds extended monetary value, LOOK, don't really need to touch!) Anyways....the owner knows his memorabilia and is a real collector ...Ol skool! We had a cool conversation and talked sports. He was nice to my kids and even enlightened my kid on some sports trivia. ...all while my 10 year old did some browsing and shopping for sports cards. Overall...fun experience and glad we came in. If you are in town, stop by!”
