I am so pleased with the love seat and ottoman that I bought 6 years ago! It gets a lot of use, is extremely comfortable and the fabric washes so easily. If the grandkids come and spill something..no problem. I’m now back looking for a sofa and reminded of the really helpful and knowledgeable staff and the huge fabric choices. I highly recommend Chameleon.

Incredibly cool store and amazing owner! Really knowledgeable, great selection and recommendations, and super dedicated to reducing fabric waste. She invited me to look through the scraps bin for any small home (living on a sailboat) projects, and I came away with so many cool fabrics that I made into water bottle holders, wall art, small bags, and more. So happy!

I had a terrible experience trying to work with Camay at Chameleon. I was moving down to this area and went to pick out fabric for Roman window shades at her shop several months before the move. She came to measure at my house on May 10th. Then silence. I emailed and I called. Occasionally she would call back with an excuse: she lost my file (!), the fabric is late etc etc. but mostly she ignored me. I went into the shop and Nancy (her partner/employee) seemed embarrassed that Camay was acting like this. It didn't help as I got more excuses from Camay. Last week I finally left a message asking her to show me the courtesy of a call saying she was not going to do the project. Total silence since then Wasted almost 4 months being told I was going to get the window covering. The windows are still bare and I need to start again. Camay might be talented but she is a terrible business woman and a rude person. Do not do business with her and perhaps she will learn a lesson!?

To my dismay this store owner started talking politics while talking about her products. Very opinionated. I left. Shocking really in this day and age. I won't be going back.

Chameleon style made new cushions for my 2 old sofas. The staff was excellent-everyone was friendly and knowledgable. the new cushions are beautiful and really well made. Nancy Kawaguchi, in particular was very helpful with picking out the right fabric and the layout of the pattern. I will definitely return to Chameleon Style with future projects and I recommend them to anyone needing upholstery work.

I can't say enough about Chameleon's. I absolutely love this place! They have an incredible variety of upholstery fabric, and chalk paint supplies to make any furniture makeover project shabby chic. They are starting to offer classes to those of us who love taking something old and make it beautiful and new. They offer so much more. If you are ever in downtown Arroyo Grande, stop by and take a peek. I bet you find something you will fall in love with!
