I really appreciate both this market and Marshall's across the street. It's not easy being the only gas and groceries provider in our small but vocal community. The owners (of both stores now) are gracious, eager to help out and open to suggestions. The standout item in the Firehouse Market is the freezer by the door filled with Marriani's custom ice cream. Thanksgiving's Pumpkin was excellent, and now there's a lovely creamy Eggnog. The Spumoni is so refreshing, while the Chocolate Mandarin is beautifully indulgent. Yes, I have my priorities set correctly!

I live in Aromas, and shop here in a pinch if I'm out of something. I also frequently top off my gas tank here. The folks who work here are always courteous. And they stock Marianne's ice cream!

Don't EVER waste your money here, you can get whatever you want 2 miles down the road for half what they charge. One star is the lowest review I can give, otherwise it would be 0.They took advantage of Covid, and we're profiting off the scarcity and uncertainty by scalping the local population, and everything went up in price by a dollar, and they never put the prices back down, even after the pandemic ended, and even though they go to Costco for their foodstuffs, they resell it at their store, and charge double what they paid for it there. They were recently taken over by another family member from his uncle, or cousin, and the nephew jacked up the prices AGAINThey bought out the only other market in town, and now have a monopoly on everything and dictate the price. As en example: I recently paid EIGHT dollars for a single tallcan of coors. For another: They buy a box of swisher sweet cigars, and put their own pricetag over the printed price on the label, and their price is between 2-3 Dollars more than it should be. They tried to charge me five dollars for a package that is marked as $2.49.Their ATM also charged me $6 instead of the posted $3.

I'm so pleased to see new owners at this place. They really add personality to this place. I only get through here once in a blue moon when traveling , but it's a convenient stop when I need to fill the tank. And it's great to see good food when I'm getting gas because I can kill two birds with one stone this way. Get gas and get good food. Their Mexican food is great anyway. So I don't mind eating great food. Kudos to the new owners.

I will no longer be giving this business any money. The last time I went in to purchase something I used my debit card. The total I was told I was being charged wasn't the amount that showed on my statement. The charges were increased by about .75 cents without being told. This is blatant theft. Additionally, When I paid cash, I'd have to ask for the correct change one too many times. They like to short you a nickle here and there if you're not paying attention. Like the previous owners, these people can't be trusted and have lost my business.

Harry, lucky’s son (former owner) is doing a great job. He was there as a young man and now owns it. Great success story. Great guy and a friend from way way back. I just wish we could get marcus back with the Tri tip BBQ. Raj tarnished the reputation of the place and was convicted of not paying his employees properly. So forget what your past experiences were with OFM and give another chance! I was here when Robert Sun owned it in the mid to late 90s. He was also a great guy! My Father and I had a patent agency in the building and the rent was 400.00 Raj raised it to 1800.00!!! Forced us out into a better building on airport. 10 times the space same rent!

I don't shop here often and usually it's just gas. The old reviews were for the old owners. Harry and his wife took over ownership a year or so ago. They are working hard to make this a local store again unlike the last owner. Since I work in town my shopping is usually done there. Gas though is a different story sometimes I just get home and realize I need some. Old Firehouse prices are reasonable and I have no problem buying gas here. I can't talk about the price of food. If I don't have an ingredient I just buy what I need. One day I'll decide I don't want to cook and I'll try their hot food. DON'T GO BY THE REVIEWS THAT ARE EARLIER THAN THIS! Check for yourself how the new owners are doing.

This stop has really turned around imo. The owner and I presume his wife are very friendly and amicable. I actually enjoy making the trip to their store when needed. I believe that their endeavor will prove fruitful. Bought nachos there today and for 9 bucks these are very delicious.
