They don't answer the phone. Ever. A voice states the office hours and requests the caller leave a VM. Then it beeps and says "message full". They don't answer, they don't seem to be in business. Ah, legal marijuana in CA! What a GREAT idea! What could possibly go wrong!? I've called 35 Times, just to see what would happen... As an experiment... And no one has ever answered the phone... And then I thought to myself - why you want these people doing your flooring? . there something wrong here!

Had a great experience with John and his installers. Price was right on point. I got quotes from a place in Angels camp and even Home Depot out of Riverbank. American carpet was local and price was same as HD but with a higher quality carpet. James the installer was great. Although John said it was a one day job. It ended up being 2 days due to the complicated full wrap for my stairs. I highly recommend and you are supporting local business in Arnold!

Gave a deposit of $325 in June 2020 for the carpeting of a staircase. I called him once a month to see when my project would be scheduled. The owner continually put me off saying that he would get to me soon. It is now November 2020 and he still can’t find time to do the job. I asked for my money back and he became very belligerent. He said sue me to get my money back.Service: Remodelling

John has a great shop at the beginning of Arnold and is extremely friendly and helpful. His pricing is on point, i found to be better than Lowes. The installation was seamless and looks great. So far has held up well.

Recently we purchased a cabin in Arnold, CA. It was a well-worn and loved cabin that need number"cosmetic upgrades." John Harding and his crew removed the old yellow s*** rug and replaced it with beautiful vinal flooring. What a difference! He also installed carpets in the three bedrooms. What make American Carpets such a treat vendor is the personal care that John takes in making sure everything turns out exactly the way any home owner could wish. John has many years of experience in the business and his construction know-how. The results show in the detail, detail, detail in his work. We couldn't be happier and now consider John a good friend.
