Their "supervisor" Amy is the most unprofessional person I've ever encountered in a business setting. I tried several times to explain that Western Union has a glitch in the system that made a previous transaction to a bank account for a business in Guatemala into a personal transaction as if I was sending to an individual and therefore the money didn't reach its destination and being that it was a mistake on Western Union's end they should allow me to reprocess without having to wait a 24 hour period. She continued to direct me to call WU myself to explain this and I told her I had done so twice already & I felt that because they are a call center in the Philippines I didn't think they understood the issue at hand. She reacted aggressively and rudely told me that they speak English in her country better than in any country she added and she mentioned herself being from there. I explained that it wasn't about the ability to speak English but about comprehension of the situation in the US and the system in the US. There is a clear difference between speaking a language and comprehension of policy and the system errors. She walked off after raising her voice at me and left me trying to resolve my issue alone. Western Union shouldn't use PLS as a third party if they hire rude ignorant people and even go as far as promoting a person with such a low educational level in a management position. I own my own business and have extensive skills in customer relations so I give the service industry the respect I expect in return. I will be contacting their corporate offices to address this issue directly with Western Union and PLS. I do not recommend doing business at this location

Collective shiesters at the Arleta store.They tried to charge me $50 to cash a check and said it was a western union charge . When I called western union I was informed that here was no w u charge. Then I called the pls in van Nuys and was told the cost was only $30. So these shiesty people went down on the fee.They tried to steal my money.

Today I walked into PLS saw a big line, as you can imagine the first thing that comes to mind is great how long am I going to be here on a Friday.As I was filling out my check and getting ready for my time at the window I found it a little difficult because I constantly had to stop because the line was being taken care of so quickly that I end up endorsing the check and putting my phone number at the window.To my surprise when I got to the window I was greeted by not only the staff but the managers on duty I did recognize the manager from another location in Lynnwood which used to be my main location I can see that the customer service transferred along with employee I must say this staff is on point when it comes to communicating and keeping the flow of traffic moving without lacking any customer service in the process.PLS I've been a customer not only with a personal account also a business account looking forward to continue doing business with you thank you for investing in your employees and promoting within it reflects the type of company I would like to do business with.Way better customer service than Union Bank where I briefly went to.Thank you

I met my friend tonight and told him I am sending money to my sister in Syria and he said, he is sending money to Egypt. We both live in Glendale, so I said then come pick me up so we don't have to go in two cars. I usually send the money from the office in Glendale on Central Ave. We both went there to the other office, and waited in line and we came to the window and my friend said, I am doing three transactions, two for me and one for him. She said, Juan, that is her name, you cannot do three transitions. He said, I am doing two and he is doing one. She said, 'Since you came together to the window and not one at a time, you cannot do but two transactions!!! I said, I am sending money to my sister in Syria, and he is sending money to Egypt. She said, no, you are splitting his three transactions!!! I asked for the manager and she said the same idiotic thing exactly!! You should not come to the window together because you are only allowed 2 transactions per person and since you came together to the window, you are only allowed 2 transactions as if you are one person!!! I thought that she was kidding!!! This is too unprofessional to believe! I am filing a case with the BBB and the Consumer affairs and I have the time to do that. So that they cannot abuse people like this...I know that there is a fear of money laundering in this area...but how can you say that sending 100 dollars to my sister in Syria and my friend sending few hundreds to his family in Egypt, how can you say that this is not allowed!!! No wonder you have that low rating, because you are limited mentally for sure to say if you come to the window together, you cannot split transactions....Why Glendale Western Union does not say that when I do four transactions at the same time every month on the same day? Who lets these employees act like this!?

Went there for a money order at 10 pm I needed for early the next morning and they were great. Everywhere else in the area stopped issuing money orders at 8 pm. I first called them to make sure they're doing money orders at that time and they actually picked up! Great customer service and reliable. A little bit of a wait in line but the money orders were free and the staff was very nice.

I try to send money out of the country but they have toooooo much question of why im sending that amount of money to my sister,, anyway if u wanna send money using western union better go to van nuys and nordoff,, there's another branch of western union there and I didn't had a problem sending a large amount of money no question where i get my money i worked for !
