Walked in at 430 and there was only one piece of fried chicken left and they said they wouldn't make anymore.

Walked up from our hotel and grabbed a couple local beers from them. Pretty good selection for a smaller store as far as my IPAs go. Did notice they had a decent selection of hot food choices for their customers. Chevron prices (more than average) but worth it to me because I prefer cleanliness over anything when I'm in any type of store. Staff were very friendly.

A great quick-stop spot for chicken located inside the Chevron gas station. For the fact that it is located inside a Chevron, I was impressed by the quality of chicken. I haven't tried Chester's much in the past, but it is on par the major chain you see out there such as Popeyes or Church's easily. With a decent variety of options for combos and items, it is a trustworthy spot for chicken during the earlier hours of the day. My only complaint would be that I went at night not long ago to try their chicken, only to find out that they were out of chicken for the night and I would have to come back tomorrow :(. Apart from that, I would definitely recommend Cheaters for anyone in a tight spot for food, or for anyone who just really loves chicken.

Some of my favorite chicken in humboldt, this is a regular lunch spot for me, fried chicken, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, corn dog and unsweetened iced tea. Thanks cheaters
