These guys are real problem-solvers! I consider them part of the team that keeps our fleet running. Why fret so much sourcing your own parts when they're happy to do it for you - and our vehicles aren't even on roads!

Don't waste your time unless you want to be scammed. I brought my car battery here to be charged, but when I came back to retrieve my battery they said it wasn't good and I needed a new one. 200$ and 3 months later they called me saying they still had my car battery and it was good to be picked up. I was confused as to what they meant, and upon clarification they said they still had my battery and it was still good. I told them that a couple months back they said they said it wasn't good no more and how they charged me for a new one. They didn't care. Long story short, you're better off going somewhere else. Don't even waste your time and money.

Ken's is the oldest and most venerable auto parts stores in Arcata. The help is personable and has decades of knowledge. Very convenient!

Do not buy a truck shell from this business. The A.R.E. shells they sell come from the factory with problems that they readily admit and do not stand behind. Brian, the owner, who is arrogant, does not stand behind his expensive product at all. Spare yourself some agony and look elsewhere for a shell.

Do not do business hereNever in my life have I met such a rude owner. Many times I have been in this store, every single time the owner disrespects me.The first time I had to return a part that I bought the day before (thermostat) was incorrect, he refused to take my return for about 5 minutesand pointed at the sign above his head that said no returns without paper receipt. I dug my cars transactions and got the return handled after I found the transaction. He was rude the entire time.Second time I went there for a squeegee to clean my windshield. We went back and fourth three times as he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about acting stupid almost, his co worker stepped between and got me the squeegee as he saw the owner was being childish.Third and final time, I'm walking through the store minding myself looking for something, he approached me as if I was doing something wrong asked if I need help, I told him what I needed he pointed me in the direction, and then followed me there closely behind treating me almost like a thief. He then tells me any gasket maker will work, so I turn around and walk away because abs say I ain't coming back because your disrespectful. He then follows me out of the store, gets in my face at the front door and tells me to leave the property, I asked him what he would do because as a fellow aspiring business owner I can't beleive the entitlement and disrespect from a man who is clearly mad he did not make it as a mechanic, and has to prove to everyone around that he is right.I only recommend NAPA auto parts store if it's not a dealership. I would never give this place a dollar as it's overpriced, and the owner is ridiculous.

What a horrible experience my daughters just had in your store. They came in because they had an oil light on and could not get the cap off to put oil in. Whomever was behind the counter said "we are too busy to go outside". Really? You're going to just let 2 teenage girls fen for themselves while you had exactly zero customers inside? My daughter lives right down the street and she has been in multiple because she drives an older car. She will now be driving someplace else for parts. How short sighted and stupid to treat customers like that. It's not like they were asking you to change a tire. Too busy to take an oil cap off? I hope you don't have daughters.

Ken's is a great place for all your auto part needs, if they don't have it they will order it. I have always had good luck finding parts here. the best part of this business is the polite and considerate service all the employees provide. When my vehicle needed new windshield wipers they came outside and installed them for me. This is a long time local owned business and they are very familiar with all cars. I will defiantly be back!
