Very nice and beautiful store in your Arcadia area thank you for Serving your local community in Arcadia on July 13, 2024 I called for some information about certain product which is a big order a lady by the name of Alicia answer the phone had to call twice the second time I called after waiting 17 minutes she answered the phone finally I told her why do you put me on hold for 17 minutes and she answered me I’m helping out my customers and I said and who am I I’m a customer too. She was I hope her boss by the name of Will can see the activity improper procedures of his favorite employees. The man is a very professional manager, but something needs to be done about these phone calls because you never know when a big order comes in and I had to turn around and go somewhere else which is their competitive Ralph’s.

Most of time the service people are quite upset and unhappy or super tired, the cut up fruits or meat or produce are time to time gone bad but still presented on the shelves.
If you see Pasadena Vons, they are nice and clean.
Bad vibes here in Arcadia.
The management has to step in or be changed.

I'm surprised the customer service and products improved a lot since I last gave a one-star review, I bumped it up to 4 stars! Thank you!

Great bakery selections and always a very clean store. The cashiers however could use a refresher course in common courtesy.

I stopped by here to get all my ingredients to make chicken pot pie. There isn't a decent home made chicken pot pie place around here. The one near here doesn't add much veggies so I like to dice up onions, carrots, celery, zucchini, and petite peas. And for herbs, I had the the bay leaves, rosemary and thyme. For the sauce I add the chicken broth, dry white wine, some butter and flour. It is absolutely delicious!! When it's raining outside, this is one of my foods I love to eat. So soothing!! But as for this vons, the service is great, always clean and near the house!! And they are fully stocked with all my needs as far as ingredients go.

Comfortable grocery store. Always easy parking available. Easy restroom to use if you need one. Visit the area near the condiments during lunchtime to enjoy their freshly prepared chicken pot pie or bbq ribs (hot). You will be impressed by the quality.

I've never had a good experience at this Vons. But my trip this weekend put a button on never, ever going there again. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. There was one line open for any amount of items (the 15 items and less was open and the dreaded self serve that never works). I asked an employee to ask her manager to open up another register. She looked at me blankly and never said a word. She was like a drone. She then continued with what she was doing and eventually went and told someone. That person then waited and eventually told their Manager. Then time passed and another line was opened. It was awful and I'm not going back (not that Vons really cares is my guess). You walk in this place and a not one employee has a smile on their face and says hello. Most of my grocery trips are to Trader Joe's (love love), Sprouts or Gelsons - all of which are terrific. Even thought it's an extra ten minutes, if I need to go a traditional grocery store, I'll just go to Pavillions in SouthPas.

I don't shop here often. Kaiser took away the Silver Sneakers free membership to LA Fitness. I did the self checkout. I do that at Ralphs, all the time. I got stuck. I asked for help from an employee standing there talking to customers. He didn't walk the 8 ft it would have taken him to help me, so he just pointed to my machine. That didn't help. He came over, and had to push some buttons. Then, I was stuck again. This time he was angry and impatient. He still had to push some buttons. Mind you, his only job was to help customers with self checkout. He was so rude, mumbling and talking down to me. I was so mad. I hate to see businesses waste money - hiring people like him. As I walked out, I said, "Be a man. Show some manners." He mumbled, "Be a man, learn the self checkout". I would have said that at age 27. No one would listen. At age 77, having a degree in Business (Marketing), a career in sales, some people really should listen. I didn't tell him all that. He would have gotten mad. It wasn't that he was Mexican. I have worked with, and spoken Spanish to, co-workers and employees since 1973. Mexicans are so friendly. I could go on and on about them, and how "we" can learn from them. BUT, there are always exceptions, maybe those born into arrogance. The store manager should keep a closer watch on some of the employees. He should ask himself how it is that Trader Joe's employees are so personable and friendly. I don't know the answer to that. Anyway, my only recourse (and I'm over my anger, now that I've written this review - thank you, Yelp), is to simply not shop there anymore. there are many, many other choices these days.
